Hi Minori, I want to give you a tip: if you crochet in the round, like with your strawberry, you can use a piece of string in a different color to guide along between your rounds. So, when you finish a round, you can use your string to mark your new round. That way you know where you started and ended. You could also use a stitchmarker, but I personally prefer a piece of string because that’s easier for me.

The light in your tent when you went camping....so cool!! The area reminded me of when I went camping with my grandparents when I was a teenager! Crochet [and knitting] just takes practice! My mom taught me to crochet, and at first I had a small ball of yarn and a hook...would crochet until the ball ran out, unravel the work, and do it all over again. Really good practice! As for that uneven edge...no worries, it's really easy to end up with that, heck, I've been crocheting for a long time [roughly 40 years, if I'm remembering correctly when I first learned...] and STILL get that problem occasionally. The best thing about crochet is that it's really easy to frog [pulling the stitches out] back to where you made a mistake, fix it, and keep going! Your hats are amazing, you're definitely getting the hang of it!

I can't decide if they look like a mascot head sitting on top of the lower costume without its human or if they look like the creation of an artist who's very good at face anatomy, but hasn't learned to paint bodies. Wow! I can't believe you made that in a day as a beginner,. My grandmother made a structured fedora style bubble hat as one of her 1st projects in that same burgundy color, so practice really does make progress. I'll have to raid her closet for that hat. I hope she still has it. Keep your1st projects, who knows your future descendants may treasure them My grandmother made that hat long before I was born & as a child I admired it greatly never realizing she'd made it until decades later.

I envy you! I cannot crochet even to save my life, but I love to knit! I even did Bayonetta's sweater with my mom and grandma's help (they taught me how to knit). Hope you can continue to crochet, is quite therapeutic (except for the hands lol). Just a detail: Use the other tip that is inside the yarn tube, so you don't have to worry to move the yarn over and over.

I had NO idea that Minori crochets! Haven’t visited your channel since I used to like anime two years ago. I love crochet, too! Congrats at finding yet ANOTHER artistic hobby. You’re very admirable for learning so much art in such a short amount of time.
