As a culinary chef and expert on food I will tell you a bit more about the noodles that Connor mentioned. Soba is a buckwheat noodle that is distinctive for it's darker color then that of ramen. It is also healthier. Odon is a fatter noodle. Ramen is thin stringy and often times hand-pulled.

Samyang is pretty good as well but I don't eat much instant ramen these days. When I feel like having ramen I usually just go to the local ramen place in my town because they have excellent ramen with fresh ingredients, plenty of veggies, and the broth/noodle quality is second to none. Yeah, it's almost $10 a bowl but you get a large serving and I can eat on it for two meals so it's really not that much more expensive than most instant ramen (other than Top Ramen and Maruchan obviously, but those are awful). If I'm going to consume a massive amount of sodium I'd rather do so while eating something that tastes good and isn't processed.

I visited London once in 2008 for a week and I swear that black pepper is too "spicy" for most people in the UK. I remember trying a place that had a spicy shepherd's pie and I asked them to make it extra spicy and it was bland and not hot at all. I've visited America as well in 2012 and at least they used jalapeno's in some dishes so that is at least a little heat. I went to a diner in Houston Texas and ordered a habanero chicken sandwich and that was actually hot and had real habaneros on it. @@bellechica82 yeah, Korean food is super spicy and salty, but since most Japanese people’s tastes are toned down they prefer something light and sweeter. Kimchi itself is different too, less salty and spicy with a tinge of sweetness compared to Korean kimchi.

@@黒神舞桜 maybe anything made in ph is not as well made as other countries. like how in this video connor shows you how theres a tape so you dont need to prep one to seal the aluminum cover, or how singapore has these hotpot that includes a self heating bag so you dont need electricity or heat to cook it, _which is something typhoon PSAs have been telling us to prep but they only refer ready to eat canned tunas, and no rice_ india is as average as the ph in terms of status but they made these instant biryani(?) and i never heard of anything like instant rice here even in ncr and even the "expensive" products you still get disappointed from how lq it is bc you dont get the stuff shown in the packaging
