The 7eleven chickenbreast sticks are sublime. But not to be consumed as is. You take them off the sticks slice them, the smallest dice you can, barely bigger than diced onions, then fry them in a pan - no oil needed and put it in a hearty bowl of fresh udon noodles or a nissin cup soup. Refried chicken is always best consumed in soups or saucy noodles, gives them that smokey character that you can only get out of left overs.

@@mastermarkus5307 have you tried it? Cutting cooked chicken in dices and giving it some color is easier than it sounds. Lots of people fry noodles after cooking them in broth anyway. The last steps can thus be combined; chicken dice sauté, turn off heat, dunk moist nudles in hot oil and add tonkatsu or teriaki sauce or whatever other sauce you use for glazing noodles. Guaranteed winner, this chicken dinner😉

As I'm watching this I'm wondering if our two boys have ever eaten actual range-grown chicken. While it smells like actual chicken, the meat feels like an actual tire, and the skin is tougher than a force field
@prettydumbyoass3 жыл бұрын
My dad used to buy those chickens and my mom fries them. Literally felt like eating bones bc the meat kinda "disappears" after being fried :/ not my fave to eat
@gameboy-nq7je2 жыл бұрын
That's because if you have a chicken that has beer outside it's whole life and has eaten a good diet has more muscle and way less fat, also they are often allowed to grow older, therefore you have to adjust your recipes a little.

Late reply, but I literally just slaughtered my 'pet' range chicken last week. Slow cooking is the key. Never fry them. Their strength lies in thicc flavor.

That wasn't what I was expecting for "chicken wings," but I mean, it IS a chicken wing. 😂 I worked at Wendy's so I relate to Connor's experience working at McDonalds. I worked lunch rush shift so I was always eating lunch there, so after I worked there I couldn't eat fast food for quite a while. KFC is pricey here in the U.S. too. I can get cheaper chicken at the grocery store I work at now, and it tastes better. Honestly the only takeout fried chicken I REALLY like is Popeye's.

I mean, it's a solid job, physical work that feeds people. There's something more appealing about that than computer work dealing with clients that change their minds about the direction they feel comfortable with or having meetings. And the free meals are a big bonus. Pro-tip, if you do the dishes after the breakfast rush, all the trays of food are stacked up around you and you can simply take whatever is in them and stuff your face, as they are only going in the trash anyway. Nothing like an all-you-can-eat Triple-layer steak/egg/sausage/bacon Bagel.
