The mirrors on the handle bars were only introduced on the BCR of 2004. The 2003 (AKA Randy Mamola BCR) had the mirrors on the fairing as all other R1100S. The main differences were: - coloring and vinils - wider rear wheel - shorter paralever arm (from the R1150GS) - Carbon fiber cilinder head covers - Carbon Fiber belly pan - sport suspension with yellow spring (2003 came with Showa not Ohlins) I am a proud owner of one soon to become 20 years old…

I also have a Randy Mamola BCR. Can you tell me how many of the RM BCR’s were made? Would love to know, cheers 👍

@@spanky8164 mine is a 2003, and I think they made 200 that year. There was a 2002 version (single spark). That should mean in total 400 were made. Not really sure… The Randy Mamola one’s that is. There’s a 2004 and 2005 BCR which no longer had RM signature (red/blue/white fairings; white back wheel, white dials, mirrors on handlebars), but to be honest, I don’t like them as much…

I just checked, my Randy Mamola BCR is a 2003 model (blue and white paint scheme with the RM signature) Not sure whether it’s a twin spark, must check that. What a great looking bike it is and I agreed the other BC replicas in the blue, white and red colours aren’t a nice. Mine has Staintune mufflers, the “rocket sprocket” cam timing modification, performance chip and large carbon fibre air intake snorkel. I sounds magnificent and runs beautifully. The suspension is very firm and on some of our regional country roads in Australia it does spoil the ride on this great bike. Thankyou for your reply and the information, Cheers Glenn 😊👍

@@spanky8164 the difference between single and twin spark is obvious when you look at the cylinder heads. The twin spark has two spark plugs (one on the bottom of the head) and the single only has one…

It should be twin Spark, and front Blu forks, sterring damper and white dials
