18:21 After pawn takes pawn, the bishop would have taken f7 with check. After king takes the bishop, there is a fork on d5 with the queen. And the next move, you take the bishop. His king is ruined, you have space advantage and you are castle.

21:20 A few hours after I had seen this video, I had an opponent play the same checkmate threat on me, and I remembered your Nh4 move to defend. My opponent played the dark square bishop to e7 to attack the knight and unfortunately for them, they didn’t see the attack on their queen. Thanks Alessia 👍🏼

Game 1 0:45 I've fallen for this trick before in a Blitz Tournament for my chess club. Now I know to just develop the Knight instead of pushing p Game 2 14:00 If Kh1, then Bf4+, discovered check while attacking the queen. After the King moves, we take the Queen Game 3 18:08 If dxc3, then I see Bxf7+, Kxf7, Qd5+, and after the King moves, Qxc5 wins back the piece and White is only down 1 point instead of two. I don't see anything else in the position at the moment tho

I recently saw a guide on the evans gambit and It's suggested to castle before playing D4, because it prevents bishop b4 check, what do you think? Ps.
