It depends on the mats. You get 5-12 of those when promoting, you can use the wiki to calculate the price of materials to put in and see how it relates to that.

step 1) get infinite volatile magic gathering tools. step 2) events in dragon fall / istan and their metas. step 3) harvest all map currencies and consume them for volatile magic. step 4) give up because it's not worth the same it used to be and do fractals instead. step 5) give up on gold farming ingame and get a minimum wage job to buy gems and convert to gold (most gold per time method).

What Muk has missed in his calculations, I think, is the fact that on top of the gold itself he also went up 1,400 gems if I saw that correctly. Since GW2Efficiency tracks account value, those gems are included in the 4,000 gold profit. Edit: Everything else wouldn't make sense anyway since fast farming shows 72s profit per shipment as seen in the video. If all the profit was from Trophy Shipments, profit would have to be more than 1 gold.

Technically free money but upgrading mats will take you a whole day, maybe two and selling them all maybe a month. I've recently bought the shipments for less than 300 gold and I sold most of them pretty fast but there's still some T6 I got undercut and can't sell. Also I lost maybe ~6-7 gold because I had to repost some of them.
