I'm 25, but 100% agree with all that you said. I'm planning for my 30s, so I love that you mentioned "take the leap, but build a raft" so true. Also, consistency wins everytime, not luck or money or good looks etc etc. just preaching this whole video

Jo!!! I am so excited for you to be in your 30's! You have already done some amazing things in your 20's. I'm confident that everything you experience and achieve in your 30's is going to blow us all away. I am six years older than you, but I am just now coming to some of the realizations that you mentioned in this video. I love how insightful and reflective you are. Have fun in Crete!

Having a visual podcast along with the podcast itself is just genius! As I always have to take notes and will always have to “listen” two times anyway, it is awesome to have the visual bit so it feels known but also fresh! Thank you you for sharing all your thoughts and views of life, Jo! Can’t get enough of them! PS: Looooooved that you decided to stick to the “bikini vibe” for the outdoors podcast! Peeerfect! hahahahaha A brasileira em mim, saúda a brasileira em vc! ❤️

True love is them knowing how you like your coffee. Them remembering to pick up batteries at the store because you mentioned you need some. True love is little every day moments in between all the dramatic gestures. You want the person you miss at 2pm on a Tuesday. Not the person you miss at 2am.

Hi Ms Jo I just started listening to your podcast kind of episodes they are really insightful and inspiring 😊. I was wondering if you can do a podcast episode or video on budgeting for people who are just starting to make money on their own and have multiple hobbies, such as traveling or learning a new language, that they want to save money for?

On the topic of romance and love... I very much agree with the idea that it's not pretty and something you have to work through... a lot! Personally, I'm not a very romantic person nor do I actually want this romanticized version of love either. I think it's more about being there for people and caring about whether they are happy or not. I don't know if you (Jo) or the rest of y'all have seen the movie Everything Everywhere All at Once, but if you have not I highly suggest that you do. This movie touches on a few different things that hit home for me, some philosophical ideas, some lgbt things, but the main focus of the movie is a family and the relationships that they have with each other. For me, it's not about these flowery gestures or if the love is "easy," it's about being there for each other and choosing to be there for each other. Definitely watch that movie though it's really freaking good!

What you're saying about love, reminds me of what the Bible defines love as in 1 Corinthians 13.. It's not the flood of emotions, it's logical... It's patient and kind and slow to becoming angry, etc. It's a choice.. A decision TO love, and its not always easy.

I think romantic love is such a complex subject and that is different for everyone. But I do think that Love that is stable, solid, real and grounded is more dull, subdued and consistent. I think romantic love has its ebbs and flow of passion and fire but for the most part its basic, predictable and mundane and I am okay with that.

I saw a social media post this weekend that talked about how there’s a belief that you’re going to possibly meet your “soulmate” in the first 20/25 years of your life. I don’t know if I buy this though. I personally believe that we change every few years, so while you may meet a soulmate by that time, they may not be the literal one for you. Instead, I think we all have multiple soulmates that meet different needs in our lives across our lives. So, you may have a BFF that’s gets you in all ways except sexually. But, then have a partner who is your sexual equal. And then you have your family that shares your personal history and gives familial love. Together all these people makeup your tribe and that tribe can be lifelong or for a moment. TLDR I think we take what we need from our people and that changes over time as we age.
