Who does this? Legit no other artists at his level spend the time or energy to give us this kind of content showcasing what it takes to make a fire track. Hats off to James for constantly giving back to us fans to help us grow and make better stuff

That’s because many DJs are not producers and therefore using other real producers make a record for them…. James is both a great DJ and a skilled producer that’s the real reason 🎉

Creating that stabby long noise to sidechain another long midi note is actually really fucking creative. normally id just attempt to sound design the original sound in serum and get pissed off when its nothing like i hoped 😂
@dudleygray30886 ай бұрын
I'm back again to say didn't realise how powerful this idea actually is at first lol. When your making a bass stab you could literally cough into a mic and use it shape a filter etc. The possibilities are endless, you can literally "steal" any motion or groove from any clear sound.

You should try slappin an auto pan effect on your serum sound. Use the phase knob to create what he did with that sidechain. Then automate the rate or slap an lfo on the rate. You"ll be amazed.
