That flag was one of the flags of the Spartacus league. A revolutionary group from 1920s Germany.

@@smlter Haha, yeah they were the second main force behind the revolution of 1919 which abolished the monarchy. Their members were mostly former members of the Social Democratic Party but alter split over the issue of war and revolution. The SPD became the first party of the new republic and established with help of the old order mostly the military a semi presidential republic. The Spartacus league was crushed and it´s leaders murdered. The rest later became the KPD, the Communist Party of Germany. They again later aligned with Moscow and became their voice.
