Thank you for the video. As I get familiar with Kittl, it’s nice to come across a video that’s not primarily about T-shirt designs, typography, and yet another vintage design concept. I wish that there were more video tips/hacks for print and photography designs. Thanks again!

Glad it was helpful! And we do have many videos like you are suggesting! You can use the search feature from our video page and type in a word you are searching for and see what kinds of videos come up.

@@Kittldesign awesome and I appreciate your response; with my initial searches, I more often came across those types of videos, however, I’ll certainly search for more as you’ve suggested, I’m definitely interested in learning more about Kittl and look forward it!

Is it possible in Kittl to achieve a true cut out effect? I noticed that you use a white outline on top of a white background. However, in preparing for print we would want a transparent background and a transparent cut out so that the item we are printing on shows through the cut out area.
@Kittldesign8 ай бұрын
On a poster like this one, it wouldn't be an issue, but yes, for printing on something like a shirt where you need a transparent background, clipping the outline of the text would be necessary. Right now you cannot do this in Kittl, but we are working on it for the future.

@@Kittldesign For the time being I export the project as SVG then re-import it and turn off the color I don’t want, then export again. But Kittle also has a limit of 3 MB on importing SVG’s. I have a project right now where I exported the SVG but Kittl cannot re-import it because it is 5.5 MB.

Great video. I done one a while back and was looking to put it on a shirt. I really loved but the print store would not print due to copywrite on the name of the car and tile? any idea how to get around this and make my shirt. thanks

Glad you liked the video! Sometimes going through a larger print provider can cause issues because they have certain policies in place to protect them from copyright infringement. Typically a local print shop or screen printing shop could do this for you. Or you could look into ordering a custom shirt from an Etsy seller or online creator.

While the concept is intriguing, a notable challenge lies in the clarity of communication. It becomes arduous for individuals unfamiliar with the process to discern the exact steps, despite the verbal explanation provided. Consequently, there is a reluctance to engage further, exacerbated by the necessity to navigate through multiple videos for comprehension.

Hey there! We're not entirely sure what you mean here, as the basis for this video was more entertainment based in nature, but we do have step-by-step design tutorials for those that need it. Cheers!

But how do you print it to look good, what kind of paper do you use? I wanna make this but I tried printing it on a regular paper and it looks bad, it looks printed if that makes sense
@Kittldesign8 ай бұрын
Hey there. We didn't print anything in this video, they are just digital designs. However, if you want to print posters like these, we recommend exporting them from Kittl at 300 DPI and using a print solution that can provide matte or glossy photo paper. Using regular paper will not work for designs like this.
