This seems like the perfect setup to me! Plus the room doesn't SCREAM play room. It makes total sense to have this space so close to the living room. I bet that door would look great black!

OMG...love the little Charlie armchair! Anything made tiny automatically becomes 1000x cuter! ❤️ Great job on the room...tasteful for adults, functional for kiddos.

Oh Holly, this came out Perfect!! I love everything you chose for this playroom! The toys are so vintage; they remind me of my childhood. I went to a Montessori school as a child. You knocked this one out of the park! 😍

Those stacking cups are one of my sons favorite toys also! So simple. He is two now and we use them a lot with his kinetic sand to build sand castles so they're great because they just keep growing with them! Your playroom looks great!

Love it! Everything looks so good! Our kitchen/dining room/living room is all open floor plan together. But I recently got rid of our 3 bar stools that are NEVER used and put a toy shelf under the bar area (it actually looks like your shelf) but my 3 year old loves to have the toys right there by the living room. (we don’t have a playroom)

Yes please on the Montessori video! We're implementing it a bit as well and Charlie is a few months older than my kiddo, so It would be perfect to see what I can do a couple of months ahead. Also, I always relate to the way you explain and handle things super well :) And If you have any examples or thoughts on schemas and how you support them in your daily life, that would be super appreciated!

Did you ever make a video on your sunroom becoming your dining room?

Hi! I am planning on doing something similar with our dining room and converting to playroom. What are the blinds called that you got? I can't find them and that's exactly what I'm looking for! Also to put in my daughter's room and new baby's nursery. This looks great, thanks for the inspiration!

I think that the two different tone the woods is more Montessori than just a black door against a white wall. But your side of the super cute your son he’s very lucky:)

Love it!! I just got a shelf in my bubs room for his toys. We are sort of Montessori too :) What was Charlie playing with around 6-7 months old?

loverlyalice check out my first playroom tour video (linked in the description box) - I think he was around that age when I filmed it and I show the toys in that one too. :)

I have an 8 month old and a 3 year old. We’ve been slowly converting to more minimal toys... more wooden.. more open ended toys. I definitely think less is more with toys! But I’ve always been interested in Montessori toys. Do you really like the LoveEvery subscription box?
