Yes this is true - I’ve sold on toys that my daughter didn’t have interest in and got back most of our money. On the other hand plastic toys we’ve sold on barely get anything back on.

Do you prefer Osthiemer animals to Holztiger? Just trying to decide where to make my first purchase.

I do much prefer the Ostheimer but I also know people who prefer Holztiger...so that’s no help 😅. My friend as an extensive collection of both so I’ve definitely seen plenty. I know not helpful but you really need to see both in person to get a good idea of them. They feel different in the hand, have a different weight, the paint jobs are completely different - it’s hard to see the difference online 🙈. Ostheimer are a bit more expensive but the quality/craftsmanship definitely makes it worth it. But Holztiger is still a very good brand and honestly I think it comes down to preference for how they are painted. I would just compare animal to animal and go with which one you tend to prefer more as they are quite different when you start comparing individual animals.

They are by ReSpiin - for size reference the loose parts are stored in the mini 3 pc sets, the toy fruit/veg on bottom part of fridge is stored in the tall basket sets and the Ocamora teniques (the gemstone balancing game) is in a medium bowl. 🤗. I’ve popped a link in the description for you!

It’s by BBC Planet - it’s a sloth 🦥 and my daughters current favourite stuffed animal (hence getting high chair status 🤣). Really lovely brand as they are stuffed with a recycled material so a bit kinder on the planet but still really affordable! I’ve popped a link up but currently out of stock 😅. (There is an option to sign up for an email alert when they are back in stock).

She does! It’s actually one of my favourite pieces by Grimms ❤️. To be honest the pieces are all just thrown into those 2 ‘furniture tubs’ and I only put it together as one piece when we are bringing it out and about. I will just tuck a couple dolls into the fabric pouch that holds it together. The furniture components in the set are really lovely and the perfect size for most little characters/dolls that kids tend to collect.

I must say you do have a lot of toys. I would buy a lot if I am also in your place. You really can’t help it at times! The only downside is it can be quite overwhelming for a child. The only thing I do not agree with is that the Ostheimer wooden toys are tucked away. They deserve to be displayed. Lol! I love wooden toys, even duplo. But I am not into buying my child LOL and shopkins as of the moment. Perhaps, when she outgrow her wooden toys. It helps with creative and imaginative play for now and if I introduce LOL and such at her age, it may take her away from the open ended toys.

Unfortunately I can’t 🙈. It’s by Drewart and I had my friend order it in for me as she doesn’t normally stock. I’m not sure who does which is why I asked her to order it in.
