As far as the VTX 1300 on mileage... They can go up to 2 to 300,000 miles. They are the best cruiser bikes that Honda ever produced.

They are 1” risers that I got off Amazon, attached to a Barons handlebar adapter for the VTX. It allows for the use of any style Harley riser.

Actually the heat shield keeps the heat down significantly. No melting of the bags or burning of the paint…

I've got those same pipes on mine. 07 c. And yeah, they're nice! I'll say this though, occasionally I do hear others that I believe are louder, (usually aftermarket Harleys or custom builds), but they get attention!

How often do you adjust the valves I have 16k on my vtx 1300s and I have to pull the engine for a bent exhaust valve any info is appreciated Your bike is cool man I have been looking for bags thanks

I usually check them at around every 6k. They’re usually spot on or sometimes a little tight. If I start hearing a little ticking I’ll check them sooner… Good luck

I used Baron performance jet kit. Can’t remember which particular jets I used, but I think I’m 2 3/4 turns out on the mixture screws
