On one of my widebody MR2 Spyders, different body kit by the way, I use a custom billet gas door that's for the PT Cruiser. Since that PT Cruiser Billet gas door panel has a larger bolt hole circle diameter to attach the screws at, I'm able to open up the center opening to put a gas nozzle down into the original fuel filler neck. I don't need an extension. To get the gas cap on and off down there is easy. Makes things look interesting at the gas station. You take a 2" diameter or larger PVC tube depending on your size diameter presence. Cut it maybe 6-8" long in length. On one end of the tube, put two square shaped notches. One notch for each opposite side. Take the gas lip where you turn it with your hand to tighten or loosen gas cap and place the notched out end onto the gas cap lip. Now instead of your hand trying to turn gas cap lip way down in there, now you just turn the PVC tube that is attached to the lip and takes less effort to tighten or loosen. Makes it really easy and adds a little bit of mystique when refueling. Hope this helps.

They did a great job! Not thing I would do if I were you is get it painted. You don't want to leave primer exposed for a long period of time. It'll capture moisture and will lead to you having to do more work down the road. Even if you wrap it it'll happen. Should have them paint it a solid colored that way the jambs and everything can look nice 👍🏽

if you drop the gas tank you might be able to just clamp on a longer hose thatll go up through the body and to where it needs to go just by using a hole saw to clearance the hose so it doesnt rub..... ive seen throtl do it before it doesnt look too complicated.... i guess it depends how the gas tank and fuel door is made though you "may" need fab work but it should actually be simple

Take it to Mike mykes boy who fine tunes a his fiberglass body panels to sit correctly and have him fine tune everything and Def have him round the inside of those fenders where the headlight sits you can see the jagged edges when it should be rounded off to sit flush with the design of that lense. Otherwise looks way better than it ever did can't wait to see it wrapped !

Agree the car looks good in a light color. With the sport car look, it would look very good in Yellow (Crystal Sunflower or Super Glossy Metallic Yellow on your shop listings) or if yellow is too similar to a Porsche Carrera GT look for you, Metallic Silver (Super Glossy Aluminum GT Silver) would look best. Do the splitter, canards, and windshield surround in gloss black (also the removable top in gloss black but the sport covers make the same as main body color not black). Maybe even do the wing gloss black too, or just the mounting beams in black with the main wing the main body color. I would also do the lower part of the rear fender that looks like it imitates a rear diffuser in black as well. Finish it off with Satin Gunmetal (Satin Metallic Gunsmoke Grey) on the wheels and you're golden. And getting a better look at it, my personal opinion is the mismatched wheel offset is looking kinda funky, I'd see what (if anything) can be done to try and match them up a bit closer to each other. Front wheels look really good but the rear deep-dish look like they're shy and tryin to hide. My 2 cents.

got it looking fast, after you finish the rest of it think you're gonna need a nice engine swap think a K series would be perfect around 250-300 hp at the wheels would make that MR2 a blast to drive but this is what I would do if I was in your shoes. Totally up to you what you want to do with it.
