​​@@SaidifectElon is obsessed with having the roadster have 620 miles. He just doesn't have the battery tech for it. There are 200kwh packs the size of the model s 100kwh pack. Problem is you can only recharge them 100 times before replacement. Current model s pack can handle over a 1000 recharges. Can't warranty the 200kwh battery for 120k miles like they do the 100kwh pack. Real world sees an average of 120 miles per charge with a model S. A high Voltage 800V pack with 120kwh 4680 batteries is possible but range would be more like 500.

Can i just say, one of the best parts about this electric car is that it keeps the front intake gap in the front bumper, whereas so many EVs just make their front fascia fully solid and it ruins the look of the car. This is amazing man you have a better sense of styling than some big auto corporations

I had to go back and watch some of your videos (a lot actually) after Zack introduced us to your and your channel. Even then, I am absolutely surprised by how much you had to learn on the fly doing this project. I am going back again, because I have to know how the original frame came to be, on top of all the other things. Learning welding is certainly not something that comes easily to most people, even less so for soldering and electronics in general. I applaud your ability to learn, and your tenaciousness in this project!! Dude, this made my cry. I am so freaking impressed, it looks absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to see what you do next. Getting the family involved, no better bonding experience than that. The kids will be so proud of you, I’m jealous but, in a good way. I will give it a shot! I am a car lover since I can remember, there would be no better way to express myself than something like this. It is one thing to have made a shed load of money doing what ever you do. Then buying the car of your dreams that was built in a far off place by people you don’t know and cannot even speak to. To take on the challenge of doing this yourself is next level! Getting the kids involved, I’m curious which one, if not all 3, will become Race Drivers? I’m going to pick the girl, but we will see. I will follow you and one day show you what I have built. Thank you for the inspiration, good luck to you in the future. A truly incredible Father, awesome Husband and a great Human being. You should partner with some organization and tour the country, school systems, mentor groups, community outreach, whatever. Your story needs to get out there, it’s something we need in this country. People like you that have a spark, say to yourself “I’m going to do it, learn along the way and see what happens”. Awesome, even better you seem very humble (or did I miss the fat gold chain around your neck?). It is not just cool, it is a massive achievement!
