I Turned The SVD Into a SEMI-AUTO SNIPER In XDefiant

Today I thought of the VSS and AS VAL, then I realised there is a scope in the game that looks identical to the VSS scope, so I slapped it on the SVD, and boom.. you now have the 'best' svd build In xdefiant.
It is a 1 bullet kill to the head with the heavy barrel, so make sure you use this build with that and combined it with cleaners' burn.
So technically with that said, the SVD can be treated like a semi-auto sniper and this build also has the least amount of recoil on the SVD so you can take on those long range fights.

Guys, this wasn't supposed to be the best build for the svd, I simply tried to copy the looks of a VSS The heavy barrel was just to squeeze the most amount of single bullet damage out of it and I feel like that is better for higher magnification sights. For the lower zoom sights you're better off using rapid fire + muzzle boost, but this is a pretty troll build come join dc discord.gg/8cCAKYzYTz

No you're not. Rapid fire and muzzle booster are bugged on DMRs as proven by Nytefall.

Based on my testing the angled grip is better than the vertical grip, reducing the horizontal recoil makes the guns easier to control.

Angled grip also reduces movement speed, anywho this isn't supposed to be a meta build

Location being hidden is major in this game. I even use echelon even tho it’s nerfed just because I don’t show up on the mini map. Suppressor does the same thing but with downsides

Can you confirm that with the Reflex sight, the dot is misaligned? I swear some shots I make with the SVD don't hit

@@nguyencaotri3879 now that you've brought it up, I can definitely say something feels off using the red dot.. I've been getting better luck using iron sights or one of these higher zoom scopes

It shakes too much. I have the other marskman rifle level 400 and have a fast build and a strong build with a 3x scope. When Im going up against phantoms i run the svd with red dot and it just shakes too much im considering puting a dot on my tv to see if it helps.

@@chuy3840 that's the problem I have too. I switched from a run&gun build to max out vertical recoil. The visual recoil is reduced if vertical recoil is reduced. The visual shake of this gun is abhorrent

I have been using a similar build since the game came out and tearing up lobbies. I would ditch the heavy barrel if you're using cleaners. Also, I prefer the 12x scope

ye only use heavy barrel if you don’t use cleaners otherwise probably lightweight barrel is your best friend so you can also get the faster strafe speeds and not worry ab losing ads speed cuz the barrel alone is 15%

Use ACOG, fastest ads scope and plenty of range for these size maps. muzzle booster, rapid fire barrel, vert grip, acog, quickdraw handle. Lightweight barrel also works well as a cleaner. if you arent playin cleaners go with heavy.

that build is amazing i run the acog, small vert grip n quickdraw rear grip as well, i just run lightweight or heavy depending on faction ofc n tend switching between lightweight n folded stock
