About a young man who wanted to sing and entertain while his father was a very religious man in the synagogue. The father didn’t like it one bit. It’s a really good movie and does play a few times a year.

I think you’re undervaluing some of the nicer pieces. A professional auction house might get you a lot more money and put it in front of an audience that could afford to pay the higher prices. That first bar piece is worth well over $1000.

I flinched when he was moving the beautiful bar/cabinet. The poor wood bottom on that. Dragging it on concrete is a sure way of breaking off wood. Aside from that it was a great find and the unit was awesome!

Following you from Houston Texas and if you ever come to visit a good thing to remember is that we have three major roads that go in a circle all around the entire city called highway 610 and beltway 8 and highway 6! Lots of tourists get to see a lot of Houston Texas before they notice a large building they have drove past twice!

U 2 r certainly showing your youth. 😅 U passed up a Duke Ellington record when in fact he is one of the most famous jazz musicians of all time. Also Count Bassey and Neil Diamond starred in the 1980 version of the movie The Jazz Singer. My little bit of OTC is dying to go through those boxes of LPs and look at everyone.😂😂 keep up the fun.

I prefer physical over streaming because once I own it, no one can take it down when I want to watch it. (I prefer VHS over DVD for price reasons) Fun fact: if you buy digital, you technically don't own it, so if they decide to take it down, they can. (I think the terms of service basically say you're leasing it, not buying it)

Hey! I live in Albuquerque, N.M now, but both sides of my family are from Oregon going back to the Oregon trail. My folks were born in Salem, but then lived in Forest Grove. Maternal grandparents lived out their final days there. Paternal also from Salem, but lived in Newport. We had a house at roads end in Lincoln City. I get back from time to time. Sure do miss it!
