Anyone who is offended by this video is missing the context and a really important message. I have always admired ACAL for this video because it was needed and a really brave thing to do. Most reactions I have seen get the message. Stevie Knight was really, genuinely triggered by the video and he and Adam put out a video discussing it. You should have a look at it. It explains his reasoning behind the song and puts in perspective how he grew up.

The context of this song ISNT racist, it’s the opposite, if anyone thinks its racist it’s cause they wanna see racism.

Something being overlooked by most but a big part of this song to me was about "The elite" puppet masters playing us off each other.

I think it just says that we all have stereotypes and we should not let it divide us so. This song starts good conversations and shows us we are not that different.

So the purpose of this was to bring forward and break down stereotypes, Adam has a better idea about this than most. He grew up in and around the neighborhood that was featured there in Chicago. He split time between there and the farm with his grandpa. He grew up battle rapping in a predominantly black culture. The whole use of the term and line about selling crack to put rims on the caddy? The one in the video is his caddy with the rims! I don't want to say he has earned the right to use the word but just have everyone keep in mind he grew up around it and some of his true boys from back then they use it for one another. He knew most of if not all the people in this video. As far as the use of the word today I still don't like it but I also think it should be stripped of its power and certain demographics on both sides of the skin spectrum are letting it still have that power there is a group of whites still using it cause sadly things like the KKK are still around smaller than ever but still here, and the other side there are blacks still using it heavily and a subsection of those that take a real harsh offense to the term. I liked the thoughts after, happy to have anyone willing to work toward a better tomorrow in the country regardless of their skin color. So hope you are well and stay blessed man.

I notice the people who dwell on racism are the people who have time to. If your out there working your ass off like I am.. you can’t afford to dwell on words. I work six days a week. When someone calls me a cracker I don’t care because I know my responsibilities are providing. If I’m dwelling on what people say I can’t function at my job. It not only holds me back but my family as well.

The key words in this song are towards the end when he says they are pitting us against each other. He's referencing higher-ups, suits and ties, government. If you listen to the song it's not about you and me. Listen to other songs he's done they all reference government.

I know you let those words take over you, but I hope now that you are old enough to know better now.. Yeah they may hurt, believe me I know!, mentally they can hurt but physically they cant.. I hope yoyou have learned that. My son Graduates high school May 27 th. He was in speech classes until 8th grade because he stuttered. I know deep down it bothered him, but he would always make a joke about it when it was real noticeable... But hey, you either love him or you dont.. Most people do, because he's still a good kid!🙏❤.. If you haven't already, listen to Tom MacDonald Names, the video, I think you will like it!.❤

I can relate with ya in studdering I had speech therapy as a child,my issues was I couldn't process the words as fast as the mind was trying to get it out, that maybe all causes, but I still get tied up when I am hyped,it was a negative for me cause I knew in confrontations I would get studdering and that made it worse so I chose not to cuss back and forth I'd judge how bad the line was crossed and make the decision to swing or Walk away or try to, apologize for my rant on me lol who gives AF.....but with the "names" if it's not used in a malicious way like directly saying "f*ck you black N " I don't see how it's offensive,if someone one talking to another homie 2 white dudes and they cmon N lets go and a black person hears it and then engage in the what what you say......the term Cr*cker is a racial slur from the same period the other name was used and I'll be honest I never fucken knew it was from the pos with a whip and the crack of his whip was referring to that.......but yet everyone says cracker and you said it in this video " not hating or throwing bs at ya homie" just saying how every race say cracker jokingly or even ignorantly and it's absorbed, but if any race other then blacks or Latinos "which blows my fuckin mind " says the N your automatic racist and you'll be approached immediately...... please don't take this as anything other then choppin it up,I respect you love you channel ,I hate the rich class political mother fuckers that keep the division so we are always against, cause if you take us blacks and the "trailer parks" and hoods and combined them to have respect and love we be stronger ,cause book smarts is good but it won't beat street smart and that's facts ,a man that learns to hustle and grind to provide is stronger than a man that came out the puss with trust funds and everything in a row for them, that goes for any race on being brought up either way.....that's my rant 🔥🔥🔥 Reaction homie

A lot of people are offended by this because of the poor American public school system and they can’t comprehend and understand the message, I learned more on my own from reading books and watching documentaries on my own than I did from school and I got in trouble a lot because I would tell the teachers what they were teaching us was bs, especially when it came to my Native American ancestors

The only issue I have with this song is that the white trash stereotype is more of what white people see in other white people. I think from the black perspective the stereotype is more so, khakis and sweater vests. Mr Bob dobolina type stuff.

It really comes down to how your using it/them and your pronunciation of the word. I'm trying to figure out how to put this into a sentence here. But.. At 8:25 your use of the word Cracker could be taken offensive because of the hard R at the end. I grew up in the country in KY but also in Fort Myers FL. So I was around country and city all my life. With my country boys Cracka was commonly used jokingly but when shit got serious or pissed that turned into cracker. It all comes down to use. I had alot of black friends in FL I never used the N word to them but they used it toward me all the time it was always with that soft A at the end. And when they were pissed at someone or shit was taken in a different tone with someone else that turned into that hard R. It's all in perception. But at the end of the day we are all the same and have the same damn problems and have a common gov. 5hat don't give a shit about any of us equally. Sorry for the rant.
