They're stone-walling, everyone who comes on and is asked questions ALWAYS does this. Watch other videos of other senators questioning the people who actually provide GOOD and CONCISE answers. When a person who is asked a simple yes or no answer definitively provides a simple yes or no, just about every time: they are there to serve the people of the country, NOT a partisan rule (one party's agenda ONLY). They are being either bipartisan, or are actually there to tell the truth, and serve/assist the senators in serving the American people. So, with this in mind: when a question so direct, oftentimes a yes or no question, is asked by the senators and the answer is met with a broken record response (stonewalling), then you just know there's more to this than is being said. And the frustrating part is when the questions being asked are so direct, so infuriatingly bad that they just continue to sit there with a prideful look on their face like they don't need to explain anything they did in their actions. Guess what, you are in the SENATE right now, and the PEOPLE'S REPRESENTATIVES are there to ask you TO CLARIFY and EXPLAIN your actions...and they have the audacity to sit there and stonewall or NOT answer the question by restating the obvious, or even as Cruz keeps putting it: filibuster (which was what the chairman Durbin was doing, whether intentional or not). THAT is why Cruz get's annoyed and just cuts them off, because HE KNOWS what they are going to say when they DO NOT provide a simple "yes/no" or even just a simple explanation/answer to a rather important and frankly unsettling question. That's the vernacular and strategy of the left (as of lately): don't answer any questions, just reassure and restate the obvious -lies- facts. EDIT: I also don't know why you're commenting here if all you intend to do is slander Cruz on a video all about Cruz. Trolling? Confused? He doesn't seem to care about the energy concern of Texas though...their infrastructure to handle the cold and extreme heat led to power outages, weakening thousands. Instead of calling it like it was...he chose to also blame renewable energy for the issues when it was the power grid that failed. And people wonder why infrastructure is such a big issue, it's becoming a national security risk if we don't update it.
