Blackbeard actually stuck wicks under his hat and lit them to intimidate the enemy, a lot of his battles were won by the enemy surrendering before even any cannons were fired due to them being afraid of black beard.

Called it a rapier. Its a cutlass Rapiers are usually thinner, and have 1 point at the end Cutlasses are made for slashing, not stabbing like a rapier.

Lol it's funny to hear your ideas about the units and I know a lot about pirates 1 black beard does NOT have bombs under his hat, that is actually fuses to look like his head was o FIRE (it was like a fear tactic) 2 the flintlock pistols shoot one shot because in battle the pirates didn't have time to reload, that is why you will sometimes see pirate characters wi th multiple pistols so after they shoot they can just grab the other one (black beard used this too) also if anyone has questions ask me
