Check out my latest upgrade for the mech as I gave a bigger weapon with flame effects. I do like Gundam or Gunpla but only specific mechs like Astrays or GM from Universal Century

The detail is on point. The head looks like a very fine piece of work and overall design make it another amazing work. You’re quite humble as you said the original was ok when it was definitely beautiful in my opinion. Did you buy another one to make this moc or did you repurpose the old one.

Thanks for the comment. I don't have that set but if I did, I would improve the cockpit and articulation. The hat is iconic part of the set and I wouldn't remove it or put a head on it 😁

It's still WIP 🤣 I'm struggling on how to proceed with it as I got two options. One is to make it like these builds with the head and articulation or retain the transformation gimmick. I'm leaning towards the latter and I might finish that for my next build 😁

I know that feeling as I had that too when I was starting and trying to study how to build mechs using LEGO. Prices of sets and pieces are high in my area compared to my other hobbies. You'll just need to find how to get the pieces. I sacrificed some of my other hobbies to pursue building mech. IMO it was worth it. I hope you find your way too 😁

Thanks for the comment and watching my videos. I’m sorry, but I don’t sell the LEGO pieces I use in my builds, as they hold great nostalgic value for me. I also can’t buy as many LEGO pieces as I used to due to my current financial situation. I usually reuse some pieces for my other builds too. For those reasons, I only sell instructions through my Rebrickable page. I hope you understand. As for world news, I’m not very up-to-date at the moment and don’t feel equipped to fully grasp things outside my perspective, but I wish you and your family safety and well-being.
