I used a AIR HAMMER to rebuild my 1987 - 1996 Dodge Dakota Lower Control Arms!

Racer X Garage: About time our Twin Turbo Dodge Dakota project got some love! Time to start the suspension rebuild on our 1996 Dodge Dakota affectionately known as GRAMPS! This time we do it a simpler way by removing the Lower Control Arm bushings with a Air Hammer, however please see the link below to see another way to do it on a 1987 - 1996 Dodge Dakota if you don't have one. Which one do you think is better?

I hope you get the 10k before this time next year. Good quality vidoes and cool cars. A harbor freight 12k or 20k hydraulic press's are onnsale right now and are a game changer with wheel bearings and bushings.

Another great video! But gotta ask about your insulation in the ceiling. Does it "sweat" and drip down all over? If not, is that why you have a high ceiling? I'm in Memphis area and want to building a shop with a small efficiency apartment where I can live until I get the modular house in. But it still gets VERY humid. Thanks

I'm just North of Houston, so I know the Humidity woe's, but no it does not sweat. This is one of the main reasons I only did the ceilings for now, it def cuts down on the humidity in the shop. (with the doors closed)
