as someone who goes to an art school and was forced to make sculptures out of foam, we did NOT have hot/heated tools and were forced to use REGULAR KNIVES and what were basically CHEESE GRATERS. the foam got (and I cannot express this enough) LITTERALLY EVERYWHERE. if you went anywhere NEAR the foam station you would walk away COVERED in it. for our semester end final we got to choose what medium to make our sculpture out of (our options were cardboard, wood, wire, and the dreaded foam) my workstation was not anywhere CLOSE to the foam station and I would go home and find that junk in my POCKETS. all this video does is bring back war flashbacks. I felt bad every day for the people who chose foam. almost every single one of them told me they regretted it. Jazza, consider yourself so lucky that you are using hot tools.

Just to make things easier, I will explain the reasoning behind the lack of character design sessions. In the video suggested by Mr Goody, Jazza explained that he no longer does character design sessions (in high frequency) anymore is because they became repetitive. He started to see the patterns in the voting process and no longer felt inspired or challenged. That is why the most recent character design sessions were focused heavily on pure chance (i.e. the 20-sided die video).
