I Used AI To Make This Song

AI wrote me a full Piece of music!
In this video I am going to use OpenAI to help me choose the genre, key signature, BPM, tempo, chord progression, bass melody, instrument sounds and of course the Lyrics!
I had so much fun producing this song in Logic Pro, and laughed my way through the entire One Hour Song Making Challenge. I will definitely do something similar to this again. Feel free to suggest what other types of music I could produce in a future video!

Mind-blowing! I'm fast approaching 70, profoundly deaf and now with Dementia, or that's what they say. Music is my escape! I can't play anymore, or as I did, so Logic Pro is my daily fix, and I'm always amazed at the progress music in the digital world is making. It's like there is something new every day. AI is here to stay and only will get better and better. However, watching this great video, I realised that although the AI Playground may have given you the direction, the way you travelled to create the piece is all you! Fantastic job!

How long did it take you to become this good of a producer? To the point where you could actually write a good song* I want to learn to produce my own songs, but production feels like a job....

That's an interesting question Atticus! I feel like no matter how early you are on your musical journey you can always write good songs, just probably not as regularly. Producing the full song well can take a bit of time if you want the production to get a bit complex, but if you keep it relatively simple and relatively 'acoustic' it can be done after a couple of months with the right help. Everyones journey will be different and have different learning curves, but the main thing is once you're creating music you're always improving! One step at a time. It took me a couple of years to produce anything I was 100% happy with, and that was only possible because I was writing all the time with my friends!

Just google openAI and it is usually a top result! ChatGPT might be even more powerful I think, but I'd have to do a bit more research to give you a full answer!
