I used an Aim Trainer for a month. Did it make me an aimbot? (Kovaak's/Apex Legends)

kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4e3YmaFecqoqdk I put out a new video answering a lot of the questions I saw in this comment section, including: - How much time did you spend in Kovaak's? - How can I find the right sensitivity? - Doesn't sensitivity vary per game making aim training useless? - Can you use Kovaak's on console/controller? - Why not just practice in-game instead? - Was your Kovaak's video sponsored? - What about recoil/bullet drop/travel time/etc.? - How did you get so good at so many skills? - How do you keep the motivation to continue improving? - Play R6s, Melee, DotA, SC2, MTG, CS, RL, etc.!

When dust 514 was out, i would deliberately drop into squads of enemies in order to pressure myself to grow my skill, three years of this later, i was in a dropship with my roomate and squad members, i spotted a squad and leapt from the dropship, inertia damped into the squad of enemies and killed them all, then leapt back up into the dropship. Lmao, my squad was pretty impressed, but that was just practice, before dust 514 closed i became the number 1 one verses 1 gunfighter in the game. Aim training is essential for having dense results: better improved headshots for the time you spend in game, even when you include the time you spend in training. It's obvious that this is true for two obvious reasons: one, not dying allows you to make mistakes while training and correct them, so you are spending more time correcting mistakes while playing because you aren't dying; two, games were and have forever been created to allow people to simulate real events in real life without the real consequences. If games themselves were made to eliminate the consequences of real life so that you can train and avoid those consequences when you go into battle, then games that eliminate those consequences from other games are essentially doing the very thing games were designed to do in the first place.

There are many factors that make people seem to not transfer their aim from trainers like Kovaak's to in game. Here's some tips for you training aim everyday that are not noticing improvement: 1 - Maybe you're playing scenarios that rarely or even don't occur in your game. (Playing a 360 degree scenario for games like Valorant and Counter-Strike which most of you're holding an angle and focusing on crosshair placement and microcorrections). 2 - You don't use the same crosshair or FOV you use in game. (Some games don't even have these options for customization, so try to match the aspects of the game you're training for). 3 - Maybe you're using a sensibility that you're used to, but it isn't the best sensibility for you. (I trained for more than 4 months daily with a sensibility I got from prosettings, but I wasn't seeing a general improvement instead I got some specific/not so useful in game improvement. However, was when I changed my sens that I got a quick gain in confidence and skill, being able to hit a lot more shots and win a lot more. So don't be afraid of changing and finding your "perfect" sens). 4 - Consistency is key. (The secret to "git gud" is trying to play everyday for some time and even follow a sleep schedule for more consistent mechanics. It's better to play 20 minutes everyday during 6 days than playing 2 hours straight on a single day. If you don't feel playing an hour a day, try at least playing a scenario that applies to your game and play it for 5-10 minutes before loading into the game). 5 - You might find some "aim spikes" while playing during the month so sometimes you'll find yourself playing like an human aimbot, sometimes you'll be missing almost every shot so don't expect to play well every single day during aim training. 6 - Try to correct bad habits that come from panicking or being overwhelmed in general. (As an example in my first day playing FPS games like Valorant I found out that I was shooting before even flicking to the target, to fix that I started to play pacedly/with calm and slowly increasing the flick speed. That's all I can remember as advice for beginners at Aim trainers, don't expect to become a god in a month take it slowly and gradually you'll get better and better.
