Just left mint for US mobile today. That's why I watched the KZbin. Save me $110 a year..thanks. Follow up a week from port . No major issues with the service. Note service is a bit slower than mint on downloading. Contact the customer care folks and all fixed in reasonable time. Impressive customer service.

Mint mobile has went down the drain. Once they decided to sell their customers out their services are always depriorotized. I switch to US Mobile yesterday. Hi I meant mobile I never had service when I was in congested areas even though I still never pass my data limit. I had no service practically

The promotion did not say for life anywhere. Only some KZbinrs were saying that. If you read the actual terms you would see visible can discontinue the promotion at anytime. Terms are: “Discounted rate will continue so long as member maintains service on this Visible+ plan or until such time as Visible provides notice that the discounted rate has been discontinued.”

I got the 25 dollar plan and then a month later (dec) received an email saying if I upgrade I get visible + for 35 until I cancel service. So I upgraded.

did you by chance look at the signal strength in your phone over the bars? I used both and noticed same with the bars but for some reason the signal strengths were right on par with on carrier dropping 1 or 2 points then raising up and the other one would do the same and just be alternating...almost like there is a signal delay. So just on performance and call quality which do you think was better for you in your area.

I'm using Visible again for the second time ,the first time was a bad experience but i believe it was because i was using a Pixel 7 .I had terrible reception,but im using a Oneplus 11 now and always have great reception.

I'm wondering the difference between a regular SIM card, and an eSIM. I am thInking that there might be difficulties in performance with the eSIM as compared to a regular SIM. But that's just my speculation. I have had a lot of issues with the Visible plus plan as far as consistent quality of speed and signal strength, without having to go into airplane mode or resetting my phone while using eSIM

I have the 30gb for 25 with US Mobile, I'm really happy with it. But now they changed it to 35gb for 29. I hope they don't force me into it. They did the first time, the current plan (30 for 25) has been the best. This is the 3rd time they changed since I've been with them.

I've recently seen that complaint. Yeah switching plans all the time sucks, especially when these are budget plans. People who care about their budget don't love increasing costs (even with more data)

Thanks for the video, it was very informative :) I'm looking to move off Verizon postpaid after 20 years. I'm paying $63 a month for a single line with 2 GB of data which seems almost like a waste at this point. I initially was looking into Visible as they are owned by VZW and I'm used to their coverage, but they're putting up a fight adding my S8+. The whole reason I'm switching plans is to save money not buy a new phone (especially when it's technically compatible, but they won't allow it just to force me to upgrade) Then I found US Mobile and the prices are even cheaper + they offer plans with data caps which I'm fine with as I'm almost never off of WiFi. Also, the cheapest plan is $6 a month which would save me $57 a month vs VZW! It says my phone will work with them. I'm going to try it out and see how I like it :)

If you want to choose from all three, Red Pocket has them all. (Or at least did, it's always changing with MVNOs) I used RedPocket to have ATT, Mint to have TMO and Visible+ to have VZN. And for good measure, my wife is on Boost infinite for the Dish towers.

If you compare visible with us mobile. Us mobile is the best. Amazing customer service, us premium 5g gsm plan get you 100gb 5g data and hotspot plus international roaming 10gb roaming data around the world plus you can call international from USA so many countries you can call. There's nothing out there like us mobile.( As same range price Google Fi is out there cost $65) Plus us mobile packet data transfer is so fast even faster than T Mobile. It's surprising as mavno using t Mobile Network still data packet is faster.

Went from Verizon to Straight Talk because verizon service is garbage here and figured i might as well pay less for the garbage service. The found out after the 1st month that after you use the 10gb hotspot, it wont work anymore... no throttling... just bye bye hot spot. This is major to me since our home internet is also verizon due to our rural location not having other options yet and i work from home plus we game alot. Ive looked at US Mobile and am pretty curious about it. In your opinion, using the T Mobile towers (pretty sure we are covered under 5g Mid at our house) would the unlimited US Mobile be worth the switch?

Visible is the only good prepaid option if you want unlimited hotspot. 5 or 10 Mbps is fasts enough if you're not doing heavy multitasking.

There is a problem that I experienced whit us mobile, My internet speed is lowered sometimes, (not because I spend the 100gb) but because something I get bad signal or something els , dont know what it is. I get bad internet. To fix the problem I just call the company and they fixed Evry time, it happens almost Evry month. God bless

it is important to point out that U.S. Mobile uses T Mobile's towers which means after your data is capped for that month it is pretty much unbearable to use. its why i couldnt use Mint as well cause it isnt true unlimited data for the price compared to Visible

So they have 2 options, one that uses Verizon and the other is T-Mobile. Mint uses T-Mobile but they don't necessarily have the same structure as Mint sells additional data for $10 and $20. Seems to be a part of there income structure. I didn't use the T-Mobile version of US Mobile but it's not a guarantee that US Mobile and Mint Mobile work the same.

When you sign up for US Mobile they allow you to select either Verizon or T-Mobile. It's been this way for at least 5 years, but with physical SIM cards they send both in the intro package and you choose which to install and activate. I have not activated with eSIM and am unsure of the selection process, but you likely choose after entering your IMEI to confirm compatibility as there are still a few "Verizon-only" phones out there. They refer to Verizon's network as "Warp 5G" (black SIM) and to T-Mobile's as "GSM" (white SIM). The "warp" naming is a clue that they seem to prefer Verizon, but the website now offers a short wizard that recommends which network to choose based on which carrier you are currently using. If you wish to switch networks, US Mobile can probably do this with either a new SIM or an eSIM transfer. I have not tried to do this, but have used their customer service a few times since 2018 and they were great to deal with.

The t-mobile side is called GSM 5G and the verizon side is called WARP 5G, on the verizon side there is premium data(no deprioritizing) and no caps, streaming is set at 720p unless you have a 5G phone and the t mobile side you can stream 4k on 4g LTE with no limits but data is deprioritized during traffic@@RazorBlazer

I have to disagree for cell service for T-Mobile towers vs VW. On US Mobile UWB VW, I get way better cell service than I did on mint mobile (which uses T-Mobile towers).

That’s very possible. Location makes the most impact. It’s not really a disagreement. Just your experience in your area. T-Mobile might not have the better performing area where you live

Big question tho! Is the data quality the same on Visible+ compared to US Mobile? I want to switch to Visible due to the TRULY unlimited data feature (also 5$ cheaper per month then US Mobile Premium) but i’m also hooked on how fast US Mobile is. If it’s worth the switch in your opinion and same network quality i’m switching!
