I think it’d add another cool level of difficulty for enchanting if you didn’t just craft bookshelves filled with books, but actually have to find books and fill it! Like as if you have to find or craft ancient text imbued with the power to strengthen the enchantments

Couldn't you recreate door number 50 in Doors using the chiseled book shelves?( but you have to collect all the books instead of figuring out the lock pad. ) Ik there are a lot of flaws in the idea, but maybe it's possible. Also, nice job on the textures, they look absolutely identical.

Hello BockLocker! This video is amazing! The biggest reason being that your creation is better than mojang's because you can place and take a book from a specific spot on the bookshelf (mojangs makes it so you take and put the books in a specific order). Anyway apart from that I have to ask you does posting youtube shorts and normal videos affect your view count. Knowing the fact that being consistant on youtube will cause more views, will uplaoding an extra short video break that consistancy? Thanks for your advice!

Shorts can get great views over a short period of time, but from my limited experience it's longer videos that will be more successful over a longer period of time (guess it kind of makes sense if you think about it). Of course, as you said, consistent uploading is the strongest factor in KZbin success, and since I always take month-long breaks that's probably why my views go up and down so wildly lol. Extra shorts don't seem to break that consistency from my experience, just seems like an easy way to get something out there when the next project is in-progress.

used these on a realm i made recently with some friends and they all got glitched or something and we aren’t able to remove any books from the shelves or place more books in the shelves. the books nor the shelves drop when broken either. very buggy item even for an experimental feature essentially unusable.
