Thanks for the update! So did you use Krazy Glue on the other side of the hair for this retightening? You have me about to run some Krazy Glue tests on my old microlocs that I cut off and have in a bag. Also, I wouldn't worry too much about the toxicity of Krazy Glue though I've seen some mention it on the comments of another of your videos. The EWG toxicity of the main ingredient is only a 3 out of 10, and you're not even using it on your skin, but on the length of your hair that doesn't touch your scalp. Some dermatologists even recommend it for small cuts.

Hey Nu Woman!👋🏽…so I used Krazy glue for my entire retwist this go around. And I think going to your detached microlocs and testing the Krazy glue is a great idea. I’m actually testing out a different formula glue on some detached locs right now (I think it may even be better than the Krazy glue!🤭🤫) . Also thanks for the toxicity report lol. Also I’m assuming some dermatologists aren’t against using Krazy glue on small cuts because both surgical and super glues are cyanoacrylate adhesives. Thanks for your share Nu Woman! 💞…1️⃣🖤🥱⛓⛓

Locs is hair to me and hair can be changed up and chopped off - so I don’t judge you for experimenting and sharing. I’m curious, if you were getting you locs retightened by someone else, would you still experiment or just leave them be? I ask because I’m very lazy and have no intention of ever maintaining my sisterlocks. If I did, I’d become quite inventive too - or they’d be off!!! It’s just a lot of work and I’ve got so many other things to do!!

Hey Leecey 👋🏽 you know I often thought about this question myself. I absolutely know for certain if I was getting someone else to retie my hair doing the every 8-12 wks I would just let them be. We share the same sentiments of having a lot of work and other things to do so my hair is often wrapped and put up and away until months later and I realize I need to do something (hence the experiments to redeem the time lapse) but yes you raise a good point indeed. Btw your locs are growing lovely!💖💖💖

The nuskin does wear off and gets sticky with water. My mom used it on me for cuts when I was smaller so that’s prob what’s happening

Hey Marcia!👋🏽…great question. So since I been twisting the volume has DEFINETLY increased. I notice as my locs grow out the retwisted portion Is more fluffy moveable and has more bounce.
