Hey koogs here’s an idea on how to make immortals better. What if they were the only 100’s in the game and everything else would be 99’s so you could have the best of the best be the immortals they wouldn’t get any other cards besides there immortals. Idk i feel like that could be kinda cool

Koogs everyone knows its the content structure around the Immortals that was the problem, NOT the actual cards themselves. They were simply UNATTAINABLE.

What the cards did is what hurt the game. Introducing 125 stats made every normal card useless because they capped at 99. Essentially if you didn’t get the immortals then your team was immediately 25% worse than a team of immortals.

2018 was 6 years ago, only the most hardcore players probably view "Immortals" in a negative light, and most of them are the most likely to actually see if the game sucks before calling it bad due to a card series style/name. They'd be dope as collection rewards for sure

It still drives me crazy that Williams and Yogi aren't in the game. I love bringing the Negro League players into the game. But we have so few MLB legends from pre integration now or even the immediate post integration era. There are so many great players that should be added. I love modern legends because they are familiar and awesome. But I learn so much more about the sport with the older legends.

The execution of Immortals was definitely the problem. I personally would love to see a type of Career Arc program come back. I really like the idea of starting with a lower version of a player and moving up to better versions as you progress, ultimately leading to a great 99 overall. You could do legends obviously, but you could also incorporate current guys as well. I feel like if they did Immortals but with a structure closer to the Career Arcs from 18, it could potentially be a good concept to bring in/back.
