Hi Maisie thanks for the video! I've been creating my own and it's not always the easiest (I have a tonne of bloopers now😆). I have a few observations to fill the gaps: Moisture Mist - The Lumispa is waterproof so you can use it in the shower (how I use it), the moisture mist is only needed with the Lumispa if you're away from a water source. However it's great for hydrating throughout the day, contains a bunch of different humectants and hyaluronic acid, or if you're wearing makeup, setting it....I don't wear makeup, so can't comment too much😆 but my clients love it. Clarisonic vs Lumispa - On the surface they look similar, both are cleansing devices, however they're quite different...and the longer you use the Lumispa, the more likely you'll see that. To keep this short, Clarisonic uses bristles on their brushes, with no control over the pressure applied to the skin, which can be too abrasive for all but the toughest skin types. Whereas the Lumispa uses medical grade silicon that is gentle enough to use twice a day, the pressure and movement speed is controlled so it will stop if you press too hard, and the movement (that you describe well) is actually stimulating the skin at the same time as cleansing, so it provides a treatment...something Clarisonic doesn't do. Also, something many people don't consider is keeping bristle brush heads clean, unless you're using something like alcohol to sanitise after each use, dead skin cells will be trapped in the bristles and bacteria will flourish. The Lumispa treatment head contains silver, so its anti-bacterial...which means you can simply rinse it with water to clean it👌 Referring products - You mention many times that you're receiving nothing from this review, and I understand that's to make it more authentic and useful for people. However, you liked the experience and result with the Lumispa, whereas you haven't tried the other product you recommended (or perhaps you have, you mentioned your friend uses it) and yet it is through an affiliate link on Amazon...so you will receive a commission. To be clear, you earning a commission doesn't bother me, it's the double standard that does. Why is it ok to receive a commission on one product but not another? This is the most confusing part of the influencer world for me: people being ok with making money from products they don't use, or have never bought and only received for free to promote, but strangely it's not ok to make money from products they do use🤔🤦‍♂️ I'd love to understand this more.

Then after that I had a detoxification effect from my early doctor cream prescription. After 2 months use skin become better and lumispa becomey go to go device ever since.

I have the lumi spa 1 year ago i bought when was offer. My skin is sensitive so the cream for combine skin wasn't good but since im using the cream for sensitive skin my face is so nice also i choosed the soft head for the machine which i love. To go and buy a cleancing device of another brand on Amazon, is completely useless. You can't tell if you will like Lumispa by using cheap copy purchased from Amazon. Lumispa is sold with different heads and activator. You don't use the same if you have a sensitive skin as if you have oily skin. I can add that Clarisonic is out of business.

I am currently using the Normal/Combination even though I have many pimples (but are drying up). If you're acne prone, you can use Normal/Combination First, because it's okay for all skin types but if you still have many pimples for a couple of months. Use the blemish prone cleanser and the treatment head must be Firm head. :-)

This is horrible if you suffer with active acne. I have one. It aggravates my acne. So it's currently just sitting on the shelf. If you have cystic acne it actually hurts to use, and I've had it burst a few of my pimples. It's useful if you have light to no acne.

You are wrong about moisture mists. They are not all formulated the same. If you look at the ingredients you will see that its main ingredients are Aloe(for soothing effect and hydration) and it contains lactic acid which is an AHA (gentle exfoliation) and Sodium PCA (binds moisture to the skin) and Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) which helps with inflamation and strengthening the skin barrier. Before you say a product doesnt do anything, perhaps have a proper look at the ingredients and understand what they do. I agree that using it as part of the cleanse to wet the face isnt the best way to use this product but i do the same because its convenient and its additional skincare that is being worked into the skin. However, this moisture mist really is a toner and should be sprayed on after your cleanse and before it completely dries, you should go in immediately with your serum and/or moisturiser. Also this is around the same price as thermal spring water sprays which is only water containing minerals that soothe the skin. I wouldn't bash this, i think its a good part of a skincare routine and its multipurpose. I hate when people say its like water, not it isn't its actually a pretty descent formulation for the price IMO, i have used tons of mists/sprays/toners and not many have this combination of ingredients.

Thank you for explaining that if you go too fast that it may do a weird thing, for me it was studdering a bit. I thought I had a damaged product. I bought mine on Ebay for about $140.00 and it came with a cleanser (brand new out of the box never used) so when the device was acting weird I thought oh no I bought a defective Lumi. I will give it a chance and see if I see any benefit especially since there are no returns for this. I also used Clarasonic many years ago but I didn't stick with it.
