Hank, your deck looks awesome. You did a fantastic job. I don’t know how anyone can say you should have done it differently. Very enjoyable video. Thanks

Good video, I learn a little more every time I watch you. You are right, more than one way to skin a cat!!!!! I've used metal coat hangers to find water lines, sewer, and electrical underground. It's an old trick and old man showed me, and it has never let me down. Just thought I'd pass that along.

My wife does that all the time. We just didn't in this case... she actually asked me if I wanted her to and I was like "nah, it'll be fine" 😂

Boy that new deck looks great and the railings make it nice. Thank you for emphasizing the dangers of the 3 point post hole digger. My best friend lost his dad in a post hole accident. From what the authority's could gather, the dad got off the tractor and reached down to rake the dirt away from the hole and a burr on the auger bit grabbed his shirt and sucked him into and under and around the tractor. His tractor was still running when he was found when he didnt come home for dinner.

You're probably much younger than me. Just getting prepped and supplies would have wore me out! As far as the posts, I pretty much do it the same way, but when I pour in the concrete i usually pour in some water. I've never used my method for a deck, but it works well for fence posts. One thing to note. Whenever I see videos of a husband and wife doing projects like this together I cringe when I see the wife wearing flip-flops or similar footwear. It only takes a second to suffer an injury to her foot that would be quite painful. Sneakers at the very least would be much better.

Use to set my fence posts like this for years. The posts rotted off long before the concrete failed. I started painting them with blackjack or wrapping in contractor bags. Slowed the rot way down, where the wood touched the cement. No worries, your concrete will be almost as hard as the two year old bags hanging out in my weatherproof shop. 😂😂

It is better to mix the concrete it will be completely saturated and tamp it and dries solid.

Have you ever changed your fuel filter. Is it hard? My TYM recently stopped starting up. I plan to change, oil and filter, fuel filter, and clean the air filter. Thank you for the video on oil change and air filter.
