This is a message to the family of Kevin Von Erich I understand the loss that you have endured and I would like for you to know that they are definitely and eternally enjoying heaven and I want you to know that they want you to be at peace knowing that you have done right my reason behind that Mr Von Erich is because God blessed you with a wife and he also blessed you with four children and 13 grandchildren I believe that the Von Erich curse is over because you've always been determined to be a family man and the one thing I Like About You in general is that you are both a wrestler for God and definitely a wrestler on Earth but the greatest reward God has given you is the family you have around you and the brothers you hold in your heart. Which is why I like to say may God bless you Kevin Von Erich and your wife Pam and my God bless your expanding family.

What’s wild too is Kevin himself was in a bad state and suicidal after Kerry’s death. He didn’t care about his life anymore and wanted to go to jail. He went to the same gun store Kerry and Chris (youngest brother who wasn’t mentioned in the film who also killed himself) went to and wanted to steal a gun. He wanted to fight and thought prison was the best place for him to go. He took a gun from the gun rack right in front of the shop owner who recognized Kevin. Kevin asked him “you look like you’re trying to say something” to intimidate him and the gun clerk simply responded “love ya Kev” and Kevin thanked him and left. After he sat down he realized what he was doing was wrong. He went back into the shop and apologized to the clerk and cried to him. It’s crazy to think we almost lost all of the Von Erich’s brothers. So glad Kevin turned his life around and wanted to live for his family… It’s takes guts to live, not die.

A lot of us were brought up to hold things in, man up, feelings weren’t talked about, and “depression isn’t real” (at least in my family it wasn’t). To watch Kevin lose his lifelines 1 by 1 due to the way they were brought up by their father and the pressure they felt to hold it in rather than just talk about things before it was too late was just heartbreaking, especially when he says at the beginning of the movie what his family means to him.. then to take the family he started on his own with Pam and be vulnerable in front of his kids unlike his own father ever was… man it makes you appreciate your family more. Whether they’re blood related or brothers from other mothers.. reach out and check on your loved ones. You never know what battles people are going through

I was in high school and I was going through the worst time in my life. I was horribly bullied because I have a disability, I had just lost my Grandfather and my best friend in the same year. Eventually, it got to the point I was suicidal and didn’t want to live anymore. I watched Kevin's sons main event a show in Dallas just how the Von Erichs did back in the day with WCCW. I am proud of the fact that I witnessed the Von Erichs main event a match in Dallas like their Dad, Uncles, and Grandpa did back in the day. I got that VON ERICH experience as a lifelong fan of pro wrestling. I am so grateful. After the show, Ross and Marshall walked up to me and I shook their hand. I only wish Kevin had been at that show. By the way, I used to deliver pizza at Lake Dallas/Shady Shores where the Von Erichs lived back in the day. When I'd drive close by where Fritz's ranch used to be...I'd always feel emotional because of all the tragedies. This scene makes me cry, but I continue to watch it. God bless and LONG LIVE the Von Erichs.

God, the amount of suffering that this family went through. I don’t know what kept Kevin going through all the hardship, but God bless him and the family. They didn’t deserve this

This is the first time a movie had me remotely emotional i will admit i was in the bathroom absolutely bawling and felt comforting to see 3 other guys crying their hearts out

This is the second best seen in the movie. The best is when Kerry is reunited with his brothers in the afterlife. Great movie.

A man doesn’t cry. Unless he’s watching this and then all bets are off.

I got four sisters and no brothers. I’m the only male from my family and this scene had me crying when I went to see it. Can’t imagine losing all of my sisters

That somehow also makes me remember an emotional little moment of Berry Gibb the last only and eldest surviving member of Bee Gees during an interview in 2013 he was also just about to cry managed himself not to with difficulty

This line. This line broke my heart. As someone who has two brothers and loves them and would die for them, I just can't fathom the pain of experiencing this.

Remember watching the documentary about the bros in 2013. Saddest and tragic more in real life. To think Kevin nearly wanted to be lockup in jail forever, only to be save by few words. "I love u Kev" .He shares that with his boys, who are there bros and live to be a grandad. He really became a symbol of strength and hope. To say " there was no curse, glad to be a wrestler, it doesn't take guta to take your own life, it takes guts to continue living, cause life is worth it".

That was an actual quote Kevin said, which when brought on film made me loose it.

2018 i was in the hospital for the 3rd time in a 51/50, i saw a friend from highschool who was in there and another friend too, we all left feeling more positive only that 3 months later one of the friends hung herself in her garage only to be discovered by her mom, a couple weeks later the other friend committed suicide as well...words can't explain how hard that was and to be honest i sometimes have survivals guilt, like why am i still here, but you gotta keep going
