I actually think your nails look perfect for this. They are clean and well maintained, very simple and natural, which really makes the ring pop. They look pretty without being distracting, but whoever looks can see they look nice and kept.

Omg! I was about to say: girl same. My husband didn’t tell anybody to take me to get my nails done or didn’t say anything when I had to cancel my appointment days BEFORE he was planning to propose. I had the most horrible looking nails, I was missing one and the rest looked terrible with all the growth showing. I was just sooooooooo embarrassed when everyone started to ask to show the ring.
