There is a lot of repetition. We're adults. To repeat portions over and over disrespects your readers. Say it once. We'll get it. Second, the timeline is screwed up. Lily (WW's friend) comes to the door, then, in virtually he next sentence it's Sarah - the WW herself. Also, the part about the AP coming back to claim the child made no sense. When did he spend any time at all with the child, let alone time acting like the child's father? I stopped reading there.
