If you bathe and then put your son to bed at 6pm every night - even if he doesn't sleep- then you can have adult time together. Please believe me that you will thank yourselves as your son gets older. Parents NEED alone time, even just to have an uninterrupted cup of tea. It's part of the training that young children need. I used to say to my children that once bedtime story (one) was done then it's snuggle down and lights out time. As young adults they have each told me that they are grateful for the security that the routine gave them. I also gave them afternoon naps at 1pm every day until they went to school. The 'awake as a button' is often a sign of being over-tired rather than as a result of the nap. Blessings to you all. 🙏🙏🙏

Here in Tasmania we have Chili hot chocolate. It is made with chocolate and Chili syrup. Anvers a small private choclateir is the place to get it. Great in the winter. ❤🇦🇺

Oh the joys of boat loo's, luckily for me I spent a lot of time on tidal rivers and the sea. So I had a pump overboard loo, plus a blue water thingy for the upper Thames etc. but emptying that blue container got me splashed every time. The downside of the pump out one was when we sat on the mud at low tide, then it was a careful run to the club house and a pint afterwards. You can tell a boater in a restaurant; they always use the loo before leaving. The marshmallows looked yummy and nice to see the three of you tucking in.

Back in the 70s I was a candy maker and we made our own marshmallow, and used honey instead of sugar for the sweetener. Made for a very nice taste.

There seemed to be quite a lot of life in the pads you removed. If like mine, then there are two washers of different sizes. once adjusted to the max through wear, remove and swap the washers around to bring the pads closer to the rim. hope that makes sense.

Altrincham so trendy! My brother had a stall years ago in the market there! Hot Chocolate sounded lovely.Marshmallows sound nice! I used to make my own sugarpaste without a sugar thermometer with the glucose gelatine and glycerine to decorate celebration cakes. Fabulous to get your books in that lovely shop.Next time in Macclesfield will have to visit!

I put off watching this one for days as from the title I feared it would contain something traumatic,and it did,lol! Congrats there on a good job done. I've have hired someone! Loved your opening shots. William now WALKS! And how heart melting is his "thank you". God Willing I hope to visit Macclesfield next summer if I get the chance. In this last summer of 2023 I went through on the train several times going up north and each time I wanted to jump off and explore. Macclesfield is in that brilliant story by Alan Garner "The Weird stone of Brisingamen". I love how that author conveys that sense of "otherness" that is in the countryside. It's not neccesarily sinister or frightening but it's definitely there and often in towns too,mostly in the old parts or places where the roads haven't been straightened out but the odd kinks and curves tell your subconscious brain this was a road before there were houses. I'm into psychogeography and urban rambling (from before I learned it was called that). I guess anyone who can view some fields and not feel what the ancient world termed 'panic',is qualified to be a property developer. How amazing to be able to make those marshmallows. Even the first batch done by eye,were super. If I get to up north next summer I defo want to buy a cake at your cafe boat so ill try to find out where it is at that time.

Have you ever tried Tunnocks Tea Cakes? The marshmellow inside them is a soft gooey texture. We were in the UK a couple of months ago and got hooked on them and we've even found a shop that sells them here in Auckland New Zealand

William is growing into a nice lad but have you tried to keep him active rather than let him sleep in the afternoon because where he's active at night is noticeably affecting yourselves perhaps something to plaything to occuppy in the afternoon 😊😊
