I've been challenged! - One Whisky Per Region Challenge

Geoff @Gwhisky challenged me to pick one whisky from each region. My friend Geoff has a fantastic knack of challenging me in the most inopportune moments possible and he caught me, yet again, when I'm on holiday with my family. Fine I'll leave them for some day drinking if I must!
Regions are all a bit blurred these days and Islands are not officially a region but this won't stop us from giving you 6 whiskies from 6 regions.
We've also done this topic on the Whiskytube Monthly Roundtable last month which I will add the link of.

Which would be my regional picks... Hands down my favorite whiskies are from the islands (not necessarily from, but definitely including Islay). Tobermory is a really good one IMO, of course Lagavulin and Ardbeg are quite nice. My second favorite region would probably be Speyside (with Speyside being pretty much the VAG of the whisky world, they've just got a lot of variety, and a bunch of world famous brands come from there).

@@SwapBlogRU Yeah Tobermory is doing fantastic stuff with both Ledaig and Tobermory. My only issue with them is when they use full maturation in fortified wine casks, the casks overpower the spirit. So I like them quite simple. Absolutely Speyside has so much good stuff you'll never feel wanting. Thanks for watching 😃🥃
