The first car I helped my Dad work on was our family 1950 Olds Rocket88. Dad just did a top end rebuild he was a machinist so everything had to be perfect I was 8 yrs old. Always loved Oldsmobiles. That's a great looking customer Car Matt I am sure the owner is going to be tickled pink with it..

Good grief on that olds! Spent the last week putting tranny and motor in my 50 Crosley. I had 2 club guys that were kind enough to do it. Fired it up Sunday. I did what I could. DProbably go check myself into the hospital for a week to get over how bad I’m hurting. Also can’t stand longer than 15 min because of surgeries on both feet back in November December. Neurologist and orthopedic surgeon don’t understand what’s wrong. Did my EMG testing and it was so bad that drs don’t know how I can even walk. The old truck still sits. Saw my dad today in the nursing home for first time in a year. He asks me and sends me text messages about getting truck going and getting a ride in it. It’s the one thing he said he wished would happen before he dies. Well, me too....Man you got a load of work going on. 😊👍

I really think tri-5 Oldsmobiles and Pontiacs are going to blow up in the next 5-10 years. Normally I'd include Buick in there too, but the 56 has already been popular for quite some time.
