You should try the big boi sword Blasphemous Blade and a dragonmaw build with regalia of eochaid dual wielded (drill and use sword insignia to buff yourself up add golden vow and cast dragonmaw)

I have to! As much as I love greatswords, those are a couple weapons I haven't tried yet! I've seen the Blasphemous Blade AoW spammed so much in Coop, I need to get in on the fun!

I've yet to do a run with it, but the split scaling while still being buffable and having a choice of ash of war is interesting. My gut tells me towards the top of B around the Flamberge and Antspur Rapier. You could run a fine intelligence build with it!

I'm thinking about doing a frost-based shield poke setup with it using the ice spear AOW and a decent shield with shield crash when two -handed, with Dragoncrest Greatshield talisman plus Greatshield talisman to tank the damage. Looking for a setup to enjoy a playthrough without constantly buffing or constantly changing up equipment and spells. Then I can focus on figuring out how the bosses move, I would only switch to a Carian Regal Scepter when I need more range i.e. Night Comet.

@Central-Scrutinizer Sounds like a good game plan to me! Best way to learn boss moves is to walk in there with 60 vig and plenty of stamina to roll to your hearts content! lol

I'm deciding between the zweihander and the flamberge for my arcane/faith build

For arcane/faith, my gut tells me to go with the Flamberge on an occult infusion, simply because of the great AR+Bleed it gets when leveling arcane

Thanks! I'm using an occult grave sythe right now until I get the 4th ball bearing. It's not a bad weapon by any means. It just doesn't feel as cool as swinging a sword to me. Btw, I live in Jackson, NJ (known for six flags great adventure). Go NJ! @the_jersey_side

I love the weapon and its ash of war, but to be fair, Ranni could've given the player a wet pool noodle, and people would still fall in love with it

My favorite combination of weapons is two dual swords in both hands. I call this type "Explosive Duo" because almost any enemy that takes jump damage from these two swords explodes from the inside with a blood atomic explosion, which is fatal to most enemies in the game Unfortunately, it is so powerful that it quickly becomes boring, as it becomes just embarrassingly easy to play. And from weak weapons I like paired light swords of any type. Their moveset is just amazing, it feels like playing a slasher:)

I really love using dual light sword too, that coded sword run had such a great moveset. The jumping and rolling L1s are so beautiful! Too bad it hits the final boss like a light breeze on a cool summer night 🤣

@AzuNekomiya he has a handful of punishable attacks that go well with the thrust counterattacks, so the Pickaxe was one of my favorite radagon kills!
