As a lawyer, I LOVE how educated you are when it comes to civil/criminal claims and the definitions of certain torts / crimes. Disclaimer: No legal advice, just my opinion: Most (if not all) MLM huns don't know what it takes to file a defamation claim, but keep threatening creators with lawsuits. For everyone affected by this, most of the time, these are simple threats and nothing more, because the moment they present their case to a lawyer, they get told that they don't have a case. And unfortunately, Chelsey is also correct when it comes to the definition of a legal threat. MLM huns are threatening, but most of the time, what they say cannot be qualified as assault.

Huge advocate of stricter gun control (I’m a mass shooting survivor), but “Stand Your Ground” laws are important for cases like this. If you threaten me and come to my home, you’ve earned whatever happens. The last thing we need is "stricter gun control".... My brother is also a school shooting survivor, thank God.... That being said, I am a HUGE advocate of self protection. Not only in your home, but in your car, in your yard AND in a public place. ESPECIALLY these "no gun zones". Criminals do not CARE about laws. They will get a firearm no matter what. I've been around people on both sides of the law and I can tell you hands down criminals can & will get whatever they want. The only thing "Gun control" does is control what LAW ABIDING citizens can and can't do. A no gun zone is nothing more than an advertisement for criminals that they will have ZERO resistance. I strongly believe that an armed society is a polite society. Since getting my license and practicing, as any firearm owner should, I rarely have the same feeling of being an easy target these days when I go somewhere alone. With videos of crazy car jackings, people following others home from the store to rob them of their purchases, and just weirdos in general (I probably listen to too much true crime, or I'm just well aware of the fact that there ARE bad people in the world. Not ALL, most aren't), there's plenty of reason to be a little hesitant heading out alone. I would never ever want to go backwards because The Government thinks they know better and thinks only certain people have the right to protect themselves. Call 911, in a dark parking lot, scared that someone is following you and tell me how you feel about how fast they'll find you and help you if someone was about to attack you. You'd be gone. Or worse... before they ever got there. Usually police show up after a crime. I don't want to be the crime scene, sorry. We have gun control, we need to make sure it's used, not call for MORE when what's in place has, in MANY past instances, been skipped. Like the NYC subway guy... He was red flagged, but still got a firearm legally. This has repeatedly happened. Same with the grocery store one earlier this month, another one that LE was aware of. Yet, legally had a firearm? How. Why. Instead of people screaming for more, why don't they scream HOW? when the "Gun control" laws put in place BY these same people weren't even followed to begin with.

I meant thank God he's a survivor.... Obviously not thank God it happened. A wonderful nurse, who my brother was sent to see, did NOT survive unfortunately. I know her son & see how depressed he still gets to this day, 20+ yrs later on every "anniversary" of the incident & her passing.
