Cool to see ya gettin it done. I agree the PCH is a great spot. Right around Topanga Canyon I found to be the best but try to settle in early. Spots can be rough to find past 7 or so. Do they let you park on the ocean side now because of covid? It had always only been the inland side they allowed when I was there. They've taken them down by now but I have color coded maps downloaded the city provided to let you know where and when you can legally sleep in your car. Basically residential areas only during the day. If zoned for business you're good to park overnight on the street. Just be careful to know where schools and daycares are because that's a no go at all times.

Starting is the hardest part. But you’ve already admitted it could be a problem so that’s the first step. I’d suggest trying to find some sort of power or something higher than yourself to believe in and help you. Build a community group of people you trust to keep you accountable. Also find out what’s causing you to drink so much in the first place and I brace those demons by trying to resolve whatever the issue is. I’d go from there first.

The good thing about the A/ C not working is the fact that sweating removes toxins from the body. Really that is how the 911 rescue crews were treated after being exposed to huge amounts of toxins. I am sure Amazon or Ebay has a cigarette lighter powered fan with a suction cup. Have you tried checking the fuse? When I had a fuse out, I lost temperature control.

I lived in my car just a summer in Colorado mainly in ski resort towns but my car is an old geo metro so a lot people would give me looks like I was shady or trashy where as I had a newer car I think ot would be easier to move back into my car . The geo is really tiny to and no air con dripping sweat in summer . Im not huge at 6ft but man my leg room was very little with my stretched legs under my steering wheel area feet tuck next to clutch . I like how your car has that foldable back seat for stretching your legs out , thats perfect. Maybe I should try to get a slightly newer car before trying to live in my car again. It was actually kinda nice in my car at times other than when sketchy people were around making it hard to sleep from paranoia.
