Hey Mandy! I reached out to Sydney Grace last week to tell them about you. I mentioned that because of your channel, and your love of their shadows, I asked that they explore how you would be a great fit for a collab. Of course, I know you like a stranger hiking a trail, HOWEVER< they are looking into and will explore your channel. I suggested that they collab with you to create a 9-pan palette and see the ourpouring of HUGE INTEREST!!!!! This of course was the conversation after ordering the Enduring Love palette and several singles. I truly believe you have authentic star quality. You are a mother, wife, and obsessed with all things make-up. Remember, that things are about to go big, beyond refinishing your basement. I just have a certain eye for these things. Some of the same people who worked for Bad Habit now are at Alter Ego, which is why their dupes are so good. Bad Habit's Pat McGrath Mothership dupes were awesome, which is why this palette is so great. I wish Alter Ego would release palettes a little more often. I REALLY wish they'd release something similar to the Bad Habit "Pretty Poison" palette.

Hey Mandy! I may be alone in this, but I don't think Pat McGrath shadows are the best! I have one large palette, #5, and I had a 4 pan palette - I gave it away! People rave about her special shades, but I would put Sydney Grace shadows up against Pat McGrath shadows anyday! Dupe PM shadows with SG shadows! THAT would be a cool video!!!! ❤❤❤Lisa

I have 2 PM palettes. Devine rose and Devine rose 2. The shadows are nice colors but not what they are hyped up to be. Especially that i found that they don’t last on my lids WITH AN EYE PRIMER. Thus i wouldnt buy any more of her palettes ✌🏼 Oh and i hate the “special shadows”. Too glittery for me lol.. i regret buying them honestly *sigh*

Mothership 5 is a disappointing one, for me. The formula is different and I hated how flaky it was. I have 5 of the Motherships plus some smaller ones and really enjoy them (I better LOL), I love how they blend themselves, especially the mattes. It really depends on the kind of formulas you like. Some people prefer the super foiled shadows that SG has, others the finer glitters and/or thinner shimmers that PM have. I like both, for different occasions lol

I just received this very palette in the mail today. I have the real PM Divine Rose II in the limited edition pink palette and I was going to purchase the PM Divine Rose that this one is meant to dupe but this palette is excellent. Nobody gets close to PM special shades but being her palettes are so costly this palette is a great alternative.. Thank you for posting this.

I just had to buy this palette the day they launched it and I added the brush set to my order and couldn’t be happier with both items! I love Alter Ego! I have all of their palettes! They’re my favorite “dupe” brand because their quality is very high and they’re so good about getting the formulas right and produce their palettes in good solid packaging which I enjoy. I’m addicted. 🥰😜

Mine came yesterday and today I have it on. I could not believe the pigment in the shimmers! Very nice. I had to work a little bit with the mattes but the look came out nice. It's not Sydney Grace (I should say Pat McGrath) but a great dupe for $22 compared to $125 lol. Your eye look is gorgeous!

I received my Luster palette the other day and have been having fun with it. The shades are beautiful and the formula is just amazing but I find all of their palettes to be really good quality so I wasn’t surprised. Now I want to wash off my shadow and try that look you just did! 🤣

It's so pretty. I wore it yesterday and at the end of the day Sacred was on all over my undereye and my upper cheek. Very unfortunate; I even put it on wet. I seem to have this issue with Alter Ego shimmers. :(

Ihave both the divine rose and the divine rose 2 that i love much more but but but this alter ego palette looks spot on they do it again lol. i wonder if they will dol divine rose 2 its amazing they both are . i think her shadows are totally dupeable unlike sydney grace she would be hard to match i wouldnt even try. I’ve got this Pat McGrath palette (husband got it for me for Christmas). My biggest issue with it is the lack of a good transition shade. The PM equivalent of what you used in the AE palette is so pigmented and it always looks muddy on my light medium skin. Plus there’s no lighter matte to mix it with. It looks better in the AE palette, tbh. If not for this, I’d love it as the other shades are fab! I just don’t reach for it enough.

I’m drowning in eyeshadow palettes and said I wasn’t going to buy any more 😩🤣 Along comes Mandy and hey ho 🤷‍♀️ I’ve ordered this one 😆 That eye look is the bomb so I had to have this! I have no PMG palettes, simply because I am a huge Natasha Denona fan 😍 I’ve never even been tempted by Pat McGrath shadows but do have her under eye blurring powder which I absolutely adore. I’m just not willing to dip into my Botox fund for one of her eyeshadow palettes, especially when I love the ND formula so much.
