Myles Kennedy was initially in a band called The Mayfield Four before joinjng Alter Bridge. He also has a couple of incredible solo records. If you think he is great hear wait until you head blackbird or words darker than their wings

Credit the intro to J.S Bach. I attended community college with Myles and we both taught lessons out of the same music store in Spokane, Wa. Myles is a great person. He is an actual Forest Gump of RocknRoll. His story is crazy with one situation that almost landing him in Led Zeppelin.

Slash‘s playing has become way more technically advanced in his more recent years and with his sobriety. You should check out some of his blues solos from back in the early 90s on the GNR Use Your Illusion World Tour. He was drunk off his ass but it was extremely soulful and had some amazing feel to it!

Slash's first solo record featured a handful of known guest singers. Myles was given 2 songs on the album and was brought on as his singer on tour and on his records ever since. "Featuring" is due to him also being the singer for Alter Bridge which used to a band know as Creed.

Slash: Lead guitar and song writer : Guns N Roses 80's through to early 90's. Lead Guitar and song writer: Slash's Snake Pit early 90's through to late 90's. (Two albums) Lead Guitar and Song Writer: Velvet Revolver: super group consisting of (from GnR) Matt Sorum on drums, Duff on bass, and then Scott Weiland (lead vocals from Stone Temple Pilots) and Dave Kushner on rhythmguitar (from Wasted Youth). Three albums Lead guitar and song writer on solo 3 albums with collaborations from vocalists from a range of well known bands. Including Myles Kennedy (from Alter Bridge). Until mid 00's. Formed new band Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators 2010- present 8 albums including some live albums. As well as this he's collaborated with many well known musicians over the years alongside his main bands such as Lenny Kravitz, BB King (blues jams) Michael Jackson to name a few. Oh and not to forget working in movies on themes as well as his own horror production company too. His latest album is a side project and essentially a blues band. Slash simply loves playing guitar.

Please check out Alter Bridge!!!! That's Slash's band, myles toured with them since alter bridge takes a a year off between projects to allow all the members to do solo projects lol I love Alter Bridge they've been together since 2003! Different types of Rock, and Myles really shows off his vocal range! Blackbird is an epic song, highly recommend for your first song. Then maybe watch over you or Words Darker than Their wings live

Myles Kennedy is so great! I actually got into AlterBridge because of this particular Slash Myles Kennedy and Conspirators (SMKC) song and album. I was like, ‘who the hell is this awesome vocalist!?’ I found AlterBridge and haven’t looked back! Its consistently better than SMKC in my opinion! Mark Tremonti ‘s intricate guitar playing juxtaposed with Kennedy’s guitar style blend together so perfectly! Check out Blackbird (song and album!) live at Wembley or Amsterdam or Royal Albert Hall and witness greatness!

Slash left GnR in the mid 90s (as did others) cuz Axl lost his mind, had his own band Snake Pit for a minute, then was in Velvet Revolver but there was too much drama, then did his own thing again, then this band, then rejoined GnR and was still in SMKC.

i feel you. slash is my absolute no.1 guitarist amongst them all rock guitarists. of course there are many many better skilled technicians, however nobody can 'sing' on the guitar like he does...nobody can operate the simple sound like him and the melodies he brings out of his guitar, make you literally melt... You gotta check out 'by the sword' (especially with myles kennedy on acoustic max sessions)...surely one of the most beautiful songs he wrote. i'd love to see your reaction...if not here, check it out for yourself, you won't regret :) best regards, peace and take care :)
