If you want a rock song by Tool, check out "Jerk Off". If you want to hear a amazingly complex but chill song by Tool, check out "Eulogy". If you want to hear a musical work of art by Tool, check out "Lateralus." There really isn't a bad suggestion when it comes to Tool. Throw a dart and you'll hit a masterpiece...seriously.

A band of trained artists that produce some really unique and masterful music. And they're a view and sub magnet, especially since their newest album was released a couple of years ago after a 13 year hiatus (the lead singer has two other bands, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer - you'll probably really appreciate A Perfect Circle). All of their songs are masterpieces (some truly are, some are just really fucking awesome lol). But TOOL's standout tracks (to really get an introduction to their style and skill) are: Vicarious, Right in Two, Jambi, The Pot, Lateralus (also an album title - look up the Fibonacci sequence relation if you're interested in geometry and nature), The Grudge, Ænema, Parabol and Parabola (two tracks that need to be played together), Fear Inoculum, Descending, Invincible (these three are from their newest album) - and honestly anything else from them.

Yes, more Tool. You will get a lot of support from the Tool Army! Like other's have said, listen with the lyrics first, the videos can distract from the song on first listen. Songs you might have heard and not realized it was Tool - The Pot, Schism, or Sober. My favorite songs are Ticks and Leaches, Rosetta Stoned, Lateralus, and 7empest.. but seriously, its all insanely good.

Yeah O'keefe and Brass Against both covered it. There's a track by King Crimson called "Frame By Frame", from 1981. The newly-joined bassist of Tool in 1995, Justin Chancellor kinda jumbled this bass riff to form the chassis of 46&2.

This song anticipates the next step in human evolution from our current DNA make up of 44 chromosomes & 2 sex chromosomes to 46 & 2 through the Jungian concept of the Shadow. It is based heavily on the work of Melchizedek. Tool is a huge rabbit hole, if you're willing to spiral out. The Tool Army will support you.
