Don’t drill into your bronco, there are multiple companies that make rear platforms that mount to the back using the factory tie down bolts. You can mount the fridge slide onto the platform. Check out American Adventure Lab, I got one in my Jeep Wrangler.

I have one of those exact coolers in my service truck. Never has let me down. I keep it in the bed and it’s been surprisingly weather proof. I’ve even dropped it from the bed and it keeps on goin. You’re going to love it.

The Bronco has a BMS “Battery Management System. It will cut off the power ports after a certain period of time or a certain voltage drop. There is a setting in the infotainment system to choose what you want to do.

A truck fridge was the single best mod I have ever done to my truck! Super useful. You can also pair it with a solar generator and go off grid even longer

I just put a Rough Country 3in lift on my Excursion and put 35"x20 wheels and tires. I love it! It was easy to put on and it rides awesome!

I sure could have used one of those coolers when I used to drive 4 hours one way to the lake house. I just used some flat plastic containers from Big 5 that you filled with water and kept in the freezer. They worked but they took up space in the cooler.

Powered coolers can usually cool 30º below ambient temperature, while a fridge can cool up to 90º below ambient temps. The fridge is by far the better choice here for any travel in hot climates.

RC has great quality products that last a great duration of time. More expensive isn’t always better quality and affordable isn’t always cheap quality

Couple things I’d recommend, the bronco should have an accessory power shut off level in the infotainment settings so you’ll never have to worry. I’d also recommend looking into a plate system in the rear (lots of different options, my preference is goose gear), this will save you from doing any drilling

If you read the owners manual it will explain everything how to use it and all about the settings. Its a pretty nice set up.

From my experience rough country isn’t as bad as people make it seem. It’s just the most affordable and I ran it on my bronco I was happy with it. It was offroad often

I use a solar generator (Jackery or similar) plugged into the vehicle cigarette lighter and the refrigerator into the solar generator. That way I have a running fridge in my truck 24/7 and it never draw off the main vehicle battery.

I've had a couple lifted trucks with rough country lifts and they're not bad at all the only thing is the ride quality is a bit stiffer than other brands

Rough country vertex is just as good as any other coil over lift that only doesn’t have 2.5s or 3.0s. And the vertex kit is cheaper than just some regular lifts

I’ve got a rough country lift on my 03 Ram 1500 and 06 Tacoma. Work great, but the instructions were lacking in both as well

I had a 07 gmc sierra 2500hd with the 6" rough country lift and i had 3 upper arms that broke leaving me stranded and having to have it towed plus the CV axles broke like 4 times. I was not satisfied by the lift. It doesn't have to do with the kit itself, but a good lift provides everything so that the angles that the original truck had remain as similar as possible

@@TheMotorman80 I have a 2017 ford f-250 and a 2019 chevy 2500hd. Both of them are stock. I would like for GM to switch to a straight axle like Ford or Ram. The screw that connects the upper control arm with the Knuckle is extremely Finicky

I have mixed opinions about RC, I’ve run their lift kits in the past and had issues with shocks and components deteriorating. I’m sure if you’re vehicle spends most of its time on-road, you’d be fine. In terms of their accessories however, they’ve always worked great, lasted and been super affordable. I still run their 3inch cube lights over other brands, because they’re cheap, bright, and come with s SUPER nice wiring harness.

I have literally put millions of dollars of parts on vehicles in the last 12 years. I put a rough country lift on my personal jeep. It is way better built than ANY OE parts I have ever installed. I really don't understand why people have such an issue with their stuff. You get what you pay for. They are very affordable, and a great quality for what you pay.
