Great reaction Cheezyxyz! The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great: choose any one, they're all bangers. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY". The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 22, 20 and 17 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs. All but #2 of their songs are written in English; their second language. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them again before one of the 4 shows I attended on their recent North American Tour. I am going to see them October 11th and 12th in Monterey and San Luis Obispo, California... 4 more days! Maybe I'll see you at their San Luis Obispo show? Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. I love seeing reactors discover the awesomeness that is The Warning! It's really hard not to fall down the rabbit hole. I only discovered them recently on the radio, and wish I would have discovered them way earlier. Within days I was signed up on their patreon, and was watching absolutely anything and everything I could get my hands on about them, something I've never done for any other band in my 35+ years of music discovery. I see from the other comments that you'll be doing Dust to Dust at the Lunario next, definitely one of my favorites, though my favorite tends to be the last one I heard by them as we say in TWA; they are just that good. All 3 sing lead at different times though the bass player will only do it if the oldest sister needs to rest her voice a bit. All 3 sisters also play piano so depending on the song you might see one of them doing that instead of these instruments. Most of their songs are actually started by the drummer at a piano but then the 3 of them finish them together.

Thanks for the excellent reaction. I love The Warning and have followed them for years. Their music has morphed into what you see today, but even as kids doing covers you could see the serious determination on their faces. Everything from those early covers up to the polished stars you see today, is worth checking out. As an old musician I had nearly given up hope on today’s music untill some online searches led me to The Warning, Band Maid, Lilac, and a few others. They give me hope. 🤘 Rock on.

This is their intro song to their second album Queen of the murder scene from 3 years ago. No spoilers, you will enjoy. This was the song that cemented my love for this band, so much that I flew from England to see them live in Texas earlier this year. All 3 shows were amazing and well worth the journey. Simply put , these girls changed my perception on everything from Music and Rock music in particular to even aspects of my life. there is not one bad song they do in my opinion....I would love to see you react to the "Queen of the murder scene" album as it is the most amazing thing I have ever heard and is an up and down journey of emotions that we all face in life (Ok maybe not to the extent of the album). Dust to Dust/Animosity/Narcisista As you can see it's impossible to pick a favourite or eben a top 5 You have to check out their covers too. From Metallica to Katy Perry, Muse to Kelly Clarkson... their taste in music is vast and wide. Oh, most of their songs are inspired by what they have read, heard or watched, only a couple of songs came from personal experience especially their older stuff. They also grab musical inspiration from a wide variety of genres as well like KPop, JRock, classic rock, EMO rock and metal... ih and classical music too

@@Cheezyxyz it really is. They have a unique way of sounding familiar yet original at the same time. It's common to hear reactors say say they can hear this influence or that. Yet they have a sound that is uniquely The Warning and it doesn't matter which sister is singing, they all sound similar to one another yet sound unique... it's really crazy. Ale, the bassist doesn't like singing lead but will do so if Dany is not able to because of illness, fatigue or technical difficulties. One of the best examples of Ale singing is when the opened up for Stryper in Monterrey just before the pandemic lockdown she sang a song off Queen of the Murder Scene called Hunter kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZWkanuXqaeDmZo

I have a love for all genres due to my musical background and special appreciation for musical talent. They have a very unique way of expressing a story, that's what I take away from The Warning. right where you paused the video to say that you just noticed they all sing.... you still framed Ale's bass guitar neck and headstock.... notice that she has their band logo in mother-of-pearl on the neck of her bass (around the 3rd fret, if I recall correctly)..... that's her custom Alejandra Villarreal model USA Spector Bass guitar... with the body finish called "Ale's Inferno"... It's becoming quite the legendary instrument since she's so young to be an official Spector Artist and have her own instrument model.
