Hey Brandon, if I saw what I think I did, thank you for the respect of taking your hat off for the baptism! You have a new fan in me. That’s what it should still all be about. My, my, my, if only the world knew how important a life changing experience like that is!?!?

Just wanted to thank you for keeping the Baptism in your video and your comments I have seen a baptism while on lake in south central KY and and what a blessing to see gives you a great feeling and another opportunity to give praise to our Lord. Thank you for your summer crappie content I always put my fishing boat up in summer maybe time to rethink that

I loved this video; catching some really solid slabs. And, thanks for all the information and tips. Also glad to see you pay homage to the baptism. The lake and hills made it a perfect scene for both the fishing and baptism.

Enjoyed the video and tips but especially enjoyed the baptism. My son and I went to Tim’s and was able to use your tips and duplicate the outcome. Even landed a 16lb cat on 6lb flouracarbon with a crappie jig. Thanks for all you do!

Pretty cool to catch that baptism. Awesome to see! You mentioned your grandfather, your grandmother was my sitter as a kid back years ago when they lived up on the hill behind Tennessee #1. Great people, great memories! Thanks for taking us along!

Great video, great content. My dad don’t fish like he used due to health and age. I send him your videos. I live just down the road from Tims. See you out there from time to time. Love the baptism you put in there too. Have had the opportunity to baptize several in that lake myself. Appreciate your content and knowledge you share with us buddy. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for including that Baptism... thats my home church and I was in attendance there and saw you fishing and today Brother Dwight brung it up in his sermon, so I wanted to come and say thank you. Also that very spot is where I was also baptized along with my brother in 2020!

We've got some good crappie up here in my part of TN but boy they're hard to find especially after the spawn. Watauga, Boone and South Holston where it goes from the bank straight to 150ft deep 😂. Anyway, I enjoy your videos and thanks for putting them out.

Great video, and it's really awesome for you to include the baptism and express your faith (also noticed how you removed your hat). Hard to explain how close I feel to God when I'm on the water in my boat and see the sun coming up over the cypress trees. Got a question, though....what type of knot are you tying to your jig? Sometimes I like to use a loop knot, but whenever I tie one to those 1/64 oz crappie magnet jig heads, the line almost always slips through the eyelet, and I lose the jig. I even try squeezing the eyelet tighter with pliers, but it doesn't help.
@BrandonLesterFishing3 ай бұрын
I tie a loop knot and I’ve never had that problem personally with the trout magnet head. I have had it happen with other jigheads though. What size line are you using?
@terrymartin96403 ай бұрын
I actually got the 7 lb Vicious braid after watching your videos. Maybe it was just a couple of isolated jig heads, but it’s happened a couple of different times.

I’ve always loved your crappie content man, you make good videos and explain what and why you do certain things….that being said, what advice would you give to bank crappie fisherman during these hot summer months?
@BrandonLesterFishing3 ай бұрын
Bridges are really good bank fishing spots this time of year because they offer a lot of shade. Maybe give them a try if you have any near you. Thanks for watching!
@tomweaver2773 ай бұрын
I like what you’re saying about the smaller baits and black crappie. I fish Percy Priest a lot and have found the bigger baits in the colder water work better. I’ve noticed they thump it harder too. I use the Slab Magnet a lot in the winter. What are your thoughts on this?
@BrandonLesterFishing3 ай бұрын
It all depends on the mood of the fish that day but you can definitely get by with bigger baits in the fall and winter because the fish are more aggressive overall.
