We continue to plant our tropical fruit tree orchard and garden while cutting and preparing all the large bamboo for the outdoor bamboo shower. Secretly behind the scene's we are designing and filing permit for our permanent house build which we will show you and start building as soon as our permit is issued. Stay tuned

Your kid is so smart and also curious. You are giving him the best possible childhood. Kids who don't get raised outside of the city rat race have NO IDEA what they miss out on. A whole world can be found if they put down the electronics.

I love your journey and your family. So beautiful you are so lucky. I started this lifestyle over 20 years ago in Australia, raised child and helped a few other kids along the way. I eat mostly from my own property, have water and fuel. I live in a community that has a healthy barter ethic, anything from a cut of meat to legal advice is able to be traded for a bunch of bananas, a bag of avocados or a trailer of firewood. I am almost 100% - though the last few percent - for me, there is rapid diminishing returns for my effort, so I still sometimes dip into the modern world for the odd addition to the pantry.

living off-grid for me is about being more self-sustainable, working together as a family, being more with nature, able to grow and live within our means. People think I am mad but I said to them put it this way the way I live with my family the only bills I have is biofuel for the car, my wifi for the internet, and also my self-employed business insurance, batteries that are chargeable, oil for lamps that is it. I live off rainwater, a spring well, an earthen closet that goes to compost, solar and candle, oil lamps for light also battery lights. I've in a remote part of the UK area I live in an old showman wagon in a most amazing place and just so peaceful.
