Level of the dam was 2 meters. Next to the road. I maintain this channel to avoid further erosion. This dam could cause a lot of damage if it would not be under control.
Enjoy the video;)

Could the mud be thrown onto the sides? Would that help build them up? With all the growth in the gully, it looks like it would clog up downstream. I'm so glad you got a good many sticks out. I always enjoy your videos. Love the different camera angles.

Brother give this a try once you have removed as much sticks in front of the dam then get a little water flowing once you have that go to the back of the dam and remove the mud (the glue of the structure) you will find the dam wall will remove with alot more easily because you are removing the mud (the glue of the sticks) try it I watch 9 different creatures and I see the same thing once they start removing the mud the wall starts to come away easier even watch your own videos carefully and you will see what I am saying anyway keep them coming loving your content cheers 💪

Hi, Hmm most of the times there are deepest spots behind the dam :) It's hard to remove mud from there in most cases :)
@markreynolds4460
@markreynolds4460 10 ай бұрын
@Kenislovas yer but if you walk on top of the dam using your rake to rake it to the top when you can't stand in there should help you get rid of most of the mud and make it easier to brake down the dam easier so I have been studying dams for the past 25 years and that intitles everything from beaver dams to your massive concrete and steel construction here's a little fact for you there was a bamboo and mub dam constructed over 100 years ago measurements are around the 75m wide and 10 to 12m high thats held back over a 1000 acres of water for more then 100 years to remove it the engineers use hi pressure water to wash out the mud and as they started at the top and removed the mud from the back the dam crumbled like a box of tooth pics with no glue here is a test for you use tooth pics and wood glue construct a dam wall then construct another dam wall no glue tell me what's stronger 😀

Those beavers won't put a dam up where you tore it out again. I'd bet they go up stream OR maybe downstream from where you tore it out to build again. If they go there again, tear it out again. They'll get the idea.
