Recently got BinBok (knockoff version but kinda same, motion controls are bad and that's all), my switch is nearly 1 year old and still didn't got the drift issues (because when I got it I was Very protective to the switch, I was putting it back to it's original package and closing it, after months I was using little plastic bags to drop in joycons and switch inside it, I was changing these plastic bags EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Joycons still doesn't move an inch from it's original place if I'm trying to check it on recalibration)

They’ve definitely been a perfect replacement for my original joycons, I hope the next revision fixes the D-pad. That’s the only major issue I’ve had

worth noting that you only have to wake the right joycon to wake the switch. pressing it twice should wake the switch and other joycon flawlessly, at least for me.

I’ve just gotten the crystal slim version of this and I gotta say, I put away my Animal Crossing joycons right away back into the box, lucky for me they haven’t drifted yet I use mostly the pro controller, I got big hands and man the default joycons were rough to use. I hated every moment of it. So I did my Research and gotten those and I love them with the Rgb, features that came with it. Mines worked out of the gate no firmware update required on my end. 8-10 would recommend this to anyone. And the fact it’s cheaper, and better ergonomic than the official joycons by a long shot.

I hear the brand your using and hiro are possibly the best thick joycons you can get. Im surprised nintendo hasn't made their own version. I play in dock and handheld mode but sometimes the joycons can feel uncomfortable when using them in handheld. Contrast to the wii u pad which i think was better. I yet to try it yet but ordered myself some hiro joycons and currently waiting on then.

I may have bought the older version of the binbok controller. The middle piece that connects the two joycons is NOT included in the box, any replacement that you think is worth buying? Really want to transform this amazing joycon into a pro controller!

Great video man, always wanted to give them a try, i have a question tho, do they charge whilst attached to the switch docked like regular joycons, as i see they have got a usp c port for each wich worried me they have to be charged speratly?

I'm torn between this and the hori split pad pro 😭 better functionality from the hori I hear, but the Binbok has motion controls and can be used in dock 😭 god dang I can't decide!!

I actually tried the hori split pro. They are definitely a tad bit bigger, and don’t feel as comfortable as the binbok. Plus like you said, they can only be used when attached to the switch. Just depends on the trade offs you want. For more features, I’d definitely go for the binbok

Glad you asked. I’ve had about 3 different connection issues around January this year where it would randomly disconnect for about 3-6 seconds then paired again. I did a firmware update that seems to have remedied the issue. Other than that, everything has been good

I bought them on Amazon UK. The binbok slim version. But now I search for them and they don’t even come up. They are gone ig. But the price for the controllers was $49, but for all the shipping and other extra costs it got up to around $80. :(

Still haven’t run into any drifting issues, the only problem I had that I’ve noticed was random disconnections from the switch that happened about three time, And yes these already updated versions. I bought them around May of this year
