This gives me vibes of before botw came out. It was when I started watching you. I reckon they will just keep silent until 2nd of April. Perhaps if so much had not been leaked, they would have released some details in between now and then. But, because so much got leaked, that wont happen imo

Nintendo is a Japanese company, not a company from the United States. You might consider Super Bowl is important, but it's important for you. There are billions of people (quite literally) that Super Bowl is meaningless. A Japanese company could care at some point, but they're not making world wide plans for the customs of a foreign country.

While the marketing cycle has kind of started, I don't see anything new outside of new gameplay on the system at the trial events within probably the next month since they'll want to have that out before the systems launch, but that remains to be seen

Idk much about tech, but I think you should wait until they release an upgraded version of the switch 2 if you already own an original or oled. That way you'll get it when more exclusives have been dropped, and the original's relevance has fallen properly. I know I'll stick with my original, as it still works fine.

Rapid fire reasons why you should get a Switch 2, backwards compatible, bigger screen, better performance, probably dlss...ss, better joycons that will be more sturdy due to using magnets instead of rails, and obvioulsy the Switch 2 exclusive games that we'll be seeing within just a few short months

I see the switch 1 as the kids introduction to gaming. Considering all the gimmicks, fun colors, and lesser power. The switch 2 is like the child grown up and he’s now sigma and based, competing with Xbox and Sony, and most likely putting steam deck sales to shame during its first month as a serious portable gaming system.

Well Nintendo doesn’t prioritize specs like a Steam Deck might, so I have a feeling the hardcore people will be disappointed. I do expect it to have better performance than an original Switch though.

I agree on it being too big. But the added weight is fine for me, I quite liked the Wii U gamepad which was 490 grams (around the same as Switch 2). So let's just hope its ergonomic and nice to hold

4k is objectively NOT needed, humans are NOT evolving as fast as the tech is, despite what some freaks seem to think. The only POSITIVE I can see for Switch 2 is the NVIDIA chip as well as the Bigger Screen... BUUUUT... I personally like the sliding up and down feature of the original Switch for the Joycons. And bigger for a HANDHELD does NOT mean better. (If you want a bigger screen for your games, play it on the TV, that IS an option.) So unless people can trade in their old Switch for an upgrade that only costs like $50 and you get to keep all your digital and physical content and saves... then it's a waste of money and anyone who buys it is either rich or stupud.
